Anomaly at FreakOutNation has the story of the Idaho woman who believed this was the best way to spread the message of Christ.

Margurite Dawn Haragan has been charged with two counts of malicious harassment in an attack police have labeled a hate crime, according to KTVB.

According to prosecutors, the incident started when Haragan showed up at the victim’s home on Feb. 5th.

“The defendant was banging on the front window yelling at her that she better believe in Jesus and she was not going to leave until she did believe in Jesus,” Ada County Prosecutor Dave Rothcheck said. He said the victim, identified in court only as “A.G.,” opened her door to tell Haragan to leave and to write down her license plate number…

Police said detectives found evidence that the harassment was verbal and physical, and also included vandalism over the past six months.

Haragan was arrested at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

No one expects the Idaho Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise, fear and surprise; two chief weapons, fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency! Er, among our chief weapons are: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and near fanatical devotion to the Pope! Um, I’ll come in again…

There’s nothing wrong with believing in Jesus, but why do so many of his disciples have to be such assholes?
