Republicans Have Growing Doubts About Christie

Posted by | February 14, 2015 12:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

The stock of the New Jersey governor is falling within his own party.

The controversy over an improper 2013 bridge closing that implicated some of his former aides had already weakened Christie’s reputation among party insiders. Now, a combination of new factors have added to the challenges for the New Jersey governor: the emergence of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as candidates who also have executive experience and a record of winning in Democratic- leaning states, controversial comments Christie made on a recent trip to London and a New York Times piece that depicted Christie taking lavish trips funded by wealthy supporters.

Complains about Government interference with free market, then bans the sale of Tesla cars in New Jersey.

And how much money did he pocket from big foreign oil companies to do their bidding in the anti-Tesla collusion???? I thought this was America Mr Christie – you are supposed to take your orders from the American people – not from foreign government owned oil companies!!!

Now there is a shortage of superintendents of education because Mr. Wonderful put a salary cap on them of $175,000, in his attack on the educational system …So they are going to New York and Pennsylvania to get real salaries…However fatmans appointee to run Newark’s schools started at $246,000

Like he looked so good before his London trip came crashing down around him… NOT. The best part of all this is the scrutiny it has finally put on the corrupt New Jersey administration. Their goon-in-chief is toast. Hey Faux, got enough room at the wacko desk for another?

There have always been a significant number of Republicans who were suspicious of Christie because he has the nerve to find agreement across the aisle, in short, do what the Founding Fathers intended.
