Scott Walker Surging In Iowa
The Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll, taken Monday through Thursday, shows Walker leading a wide-open Republican race with 15 percent, up from just 4 percent in the same poll in October. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was at 14 percent and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who won the Iowa caucuses in 2008, stood at 10 percent.
Bush trailed with 8 percent and increasingly is viewed negatively by likely Republican caucus-goers.

The left just needs to keep playing this on a loop to defeat this clown.

So he went from 4% to 15% and the RW media has just discovered their new hero. Let’s ignore the fact that the Wisconsin budget shortfall is expected to be over $1 billion next year, and that Wisconsin job growth is non-existent, for all intents and purposes.
All the right cares about is optics.

Walker is a RW clown backed by the Koch Bros, total loser. Will he be the republican pick?? Who knows, but I can tell you this, he will not be President.

With no college degree, innate intelligence and zero charisma I find it hard to believe he was ever elected to anything.
Robert M. Snyder February 1st, 2015 at 10:06
Surely you didn’t mean to suggest that a college degree is a requirement for becoming president!
Carla Akins February 1st, 2015 at 10:49
I honestly don’t think it must be a requirement, but I think most people want to believe their President is smarter than themselves – or at least their candidate and Walker doesn’t give the impression he has any natural talent other than his ass kissing skills.
Robert M. Snyder February 1st, 2015 at 10:55
Most people also prefer a president who is taller than average, so Walker is probably at a disadvantage in that area as well. What are the chances of Robert Reich ever getting elected, regardless of his knowledge, experience, and political philosophy?
Carla Akins February 1st, 2015 at 11:11
True!

Robert Reich would make an excellent VP. Might be the only way he could get to be president, through tragedy. On the plus side, he would probably also help insure the presidents life. Whoever gets elected probably wouldn’t scare the GOPee’s as much as Reich would as president.

It worked for George Bush.

Walker kisses up to the money people real well. That’s how he got where he is. The less intelligence of this yahoo means he can be ‘guided’ down the ‘right’ path easier than a smarter person could.

Most of those aren’t being considered to run a country, especially one with nuclear weapons. Cleveland was what, a 100 years ago?
Clearly a college degree doesn’t stop you from being a success, as Gates and Buffet show. John Glenn got his degree in 1962. As a Naval officer, a degree is required.
William February 1st, 2015 at 17:06
Glenn has a B.S. degree in engineering from Muskingum College.
Winston Churchill Graduated from the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. in December 1894
These are just a couple that stuck out. I suggest you check your sources.
I do, however understand what motivates you.

The ‘winner’ in Iowa is often the loser down the road. While Wisconsin would be glad to get rid of Walker, we’re not sure giving him even more power is a wise move.

New FEC rules should require him to change his first name, advertising his biggest donor: “I am Koch Walker and I approve this message.”

“We could actually have a president who is dumber than GWBush”
Only if there are houseplants on the ballot.
