OMG, A Duggar Was Born Out Of Wedlock!

Posted by | January 30, 2015 17:00 | Filed under: Top Stories

Amy Duggar, Jim Bob’s niece broke the news.

“The tabloids are telling the truth, my mom and dad did have me out of wedlock. Just because we are Christians doesn’t make us perfect, it just makes us forgiven,” the 28-year-old captioned a pic with her parents.

I don’t know who a Duggar is and Libs attack Xtrians, yet promote Muslim values?? idiots.

In other words, stop promoting religious bigotry.

If you do not consider yourself to be a religious bigot, take your initial post and replace the word Muslim with Jewish. Perhaps that will clarify the issue for you.

        • Mike January 31st, 2015 at 12:19

Well, that too…I’m still wondering how she made the leap from gay marriage to necrophilia…that’s one slippery slope she slid down…

    • the case guy January 31st, 2015 at 08:05

Likewise, I don’t know who a Duggar is, nor do I even care to know, but the rest of your comment hardly makes any sense at all. Liberals do not necessarily attack Christians, unless it is being critical of those who go overboard in violation of our country’s First Amendment, in terms of trying to turn the USA into a Christian theocracy. As for the idea of liberals promoting of Muslim values, you really need to take a break from gulping the kool-aid being served by the islamophobic right-wing pundits, and get yourself educated. Liberals stand for freedom of religion, as defined by the Constitution, as well as the freedom from religion for those who choose not to be bound by religious dogma. As for your last word, perhaps look in the mirror.

They became married, provided a roof/clothes/food and all 3 seem happy as of now… where’s the story except maybe a happy ending?

    • Hirightnow January 31st, 2015 at 09:23

      The hypocrisy?

      • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 09:27

I’m not really sure it would be that… everyone makes mistakes, we all know that. If they continued to preach one thing and do another, that would be hypocrisy.

It is like a guy who used to sell and consume hard drugs… he kicks the habit, gets out of the business. He then goes to schools telling teens not to get into it… is that hypocrisy?

        • Hirightnow January 31st, 2015 at 09:31

I dunno…did his drug use get exposed by the tabloids after he’d been doing his “Just say no!” shtick for years and claiming that he had never done drugs in his life?

          • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 09:32

Did this duggar guy, or wife, claim they never had sex before marriage?

            • Hirightnow January 31st, 2015 at 09:41

Well, they let their kids hang out with hate groups, indicating a lack of Christian love… and their 20 YO daughter was allegedly not allowed to kiss her boyfriend while they dated, indicating an almost paranoid level of control over their adult children…so I’ll concede your point that they’re not really all that good at parenting, and that nobody should watch their show.

              • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 09:44

“so I’ll concede your point that they’re not really all that good at parenting, and that nobody should watch their show.”
                Where did I say that?
I thought we were having a polite conversation, was I wrong?

                • Hirightnow January 31st, 2015 at 09:57

Hover your pointer over my avatar, and read that little tag.
                  Personally, for all I really care, they can claim to be the second through the 20th coming of Jesus; I don’t watch TLC…and I dislike people who claim that their way is the only way because Sky Pal told them so through highly edited and revised writings. So WHAT if you’re “forgiven” by your imaginary friend? There’s a buttload of troubles in this world that their Good Book says they should concentrate upon. TV exposure isn’t on the list. And here’s the obligatory Bible Quote from the Agnostic Poster™;
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people in
order to be noticed by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. ”
This story is a good reason for that quote.

                  • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 10:19

Um, I was just going on the article and commented on that…

        • William January 31st, 2015 at 10:06

He then goes to schools telling teens not to get into it… is that hypocrisy?
No that’s called court ordered community service. Unless you’re Rush Limbaugh, then it’s time to get a maid with better connections.

          • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 10:21

He never went to jail or court, he quit before it happened. So no, it is not called court ordered.
(have no idea what you mean by rush and a maid)

            • William January 31st, 2015 at 10:49

Do you live under a Rock?

Rush is an admitted addict. He used to get his maid to score drugs for him. He got off because the ACLU went to bat for him.

There was no court ordered anything (I am referring to a standard sentence handed down to famous people who get nailed with drugs).

Now pay attention. This is the Hypocrisy part.

              • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 12:24

Why do you keep bring up rush?
I commented on the article(he’s not in it) and I mentioned someone I know(the ex-drug user/seller) as an example of ‘not’ being hypocritical.
I don’t give diddley squat about, nor was talking about, rush.

So why don’t you pay attention, and stick to, the topic and conversation.

                • William January 31st, 2015 at 12:33

“It is like a guy who used to sell and consume hard drugs… he kicks the habit, gets out of the business. He then goes to schools telling teens not to get into it… is that hypocrisy?”
It’s hypocrisy if the persons calling card is advocating long prison sentences for drug users when he is an addict.

                  • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 12:59

Ok, but I wasn’t talking about someone like that… I asked using a specific example.
If a person gets clean, then talks to folks not to get involved w/it, is it hypocrisy?

                    • William January 31st, 2015 at 13:26

How about this. How about if people who make a living preaching about the evils of premarital sex,not have premarital sex. How about people who preach about “Traditional marriage” stop having affairs and racking up four or more marriages. How about if people who call for long sentences for drug possession, not use drugs. How about fat people stop calling the first lady fat. How about if draft dodgers stop waving guns around.
See how I used other examples to highlight the hypocrisy of these people?

                    • Spirit of America January 31st, 2015 at 13:48

No, you are giving examples of hypocrisy. Doesn’t prove if the people in the article are hypocrites.

When Limbaugh is bouncing up and down laughing and playing a song entitled “Barack the magic negro” He’s being Americas anchorman, and the ambassador for American “Conservatism”, but when he’s getting kicked off stations for calling a co-ed a slut, he’s just being an “entertainer”
