Five Songs Banned From Republican Campaigns

Scott Walker was recently asked not to use music by the Dropkick Murpheys. Funny that other groups asking not to have their music used were all upset by Republicans.

Hey Alan, that would be Dropkick Murphys. Dropkick Monkeys was the name of your intramural flag football team in college.

Asking them not to use their music? Shouldn’t they be suing them for using their music without permission?

I think you can buy the rights for limited use on exchanges without identifying yourself…

The artist could still seek a cease-and-desist order if their material is used in a way that’s considered obscene or defamatory. Since the Republican Party is an obscene organization, anything they use is potentially tainted.

might just be something there… if we could get the repugnicans ruled obscene, then watching one of them becomes pornography. hmmmm…

before you sue for a first IP violation you first ask to have the offending content removed. only if the offenders refuse do you take it to the point of a lawsuit.

I wanted to equate the photo above with the Three Stooges, but Moe, Larry, and Curly were smarter and wittier…those three are just dumb and dangerous…(Bachmann is a corrupt POS and I hope they convict her and the hubby)

You would think that these gopee sticklers for the straight and narrow would be bright enough to ask permission…..oh well there is the fall back position of Nugent…unless HE won’t let them use his stuff too!

They should stick to country from the 1800’s, they shouldn’t get too much push back from those entertainers.
