Israel’s Anti-Netanyahu Movement Upsets Republican War Hawks

It seems Conservatives in Israel behave a lot like their GOP counterparts in the United States.  Netanyahu’s Likud Party is as far to the right as the GOP, and they too aren’t too fond of movements to increase voter turnout.   The right-wing publication, The Washington Free Beacon, ran a story today entitled State Department-Funded Group Bankrolling Anti-Bibi Campaign.  The purpose of the story was to denounce any opposition to the Israeli Prime Minister’s reelection efforts.  It’s painfully obvious that the GOP has much more loyalty to Bibi Netanyahu than to their own U.S. President.

U.S.-based activist group OneVoice International has partnered with V15, an “independent grassroots movement” in Israel that is actively opposing Netanyahu’s party in the upcoming elections, Ha’aretz reported on Monday. Former national field director for President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign Jeremy Bird is also reportedly involved in the effort…OneVoice also recently hired Bird’s consulting firm 270 Strategies to “inform us better as a grassroots-organizing model.”…Ha’aretz reported that Bird will work with the V15 campaign from an office in Tel Aviv…“What do you think Adelson promised GOP in exchange for this insane BiBi House visit?” Bird wrote on Twitter. “Blatant attempt to bolster Israeli PM before elections.”

Of course, right-wing media will freak out when the winning strategists from the Obama campaign are involved with efforts to unseat the hawkish Israeli from power.  Believe it or not, there are other views harbored by Israelis that do not include launching a Holy war with Iran, using the military might of its biggest benefactor,  the United States.

Ah the party of Treasonous actions is upset by all of this. Hey I have an idea all of you TP/GOP members move to Israel and stay there. The USA would be a far better country, Israel would be a big mess, still.

They are so loyal to the Israeli Right. It’s not a big mystery why, however. The second most generous billionaire to the GOP is Sheldon Adelson, who finances Bibi.

The right is terrified that they will lose the option to get their hands on Iranian oil.
