NRA Supporters Launch Vicious, Misogynistic Twitter Attack On Gun Reform Leader

Posted by | December 27, 2014 15:15 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

When Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, was blocked by the NRA on Twitter yesterday, she tweeted it. It shall come as a surprise to no one ever that that was met with a slew of vicious misogynistic remarks by NRA supporters.

Even though the NRA claims Watts is an insignificant threat to their organization, they found it necessary to block her on social media.

The mother of 5 frightens them that much. She’s a beautiful and intelligent woman, so naturally, she’s a threat.

It started with this tweet.

Naturally, that innocuous tweet became a platform to attack the Gun Sense advocate by NRA supporters. The hashtag #ImBlockedByShannonWatts started trending on Twitter.
The alleged human responsible for creating that hashtag is none other than Julie Golob, world shooting champion and author of the book “Shooting While Pregnant.” No, really.

So Ms. Watts is retweeting some vulgar responses to her one tweet.

Oh, this is such a winning strategy.

And this tweet by Katie Pavlich gave the onslaught some legs:

NRA supporters, I have some advice for you. If you want to appear to be female-friendly, don’t call a woman a “Bitch”, a “cunt”, “twat’ or tell her she needs to “get back in the kitchen.”

Include “bimbo” to the list of things not to call a woman.

Ms. Watts isn’t too worried about the vicious attack.

Big thanks to my pal out there for collecting the tweets. You rock.

Ever notice that when both Bloomberg and Watts go out in public they are surrounded by armed guards? But they both seemingly, by their words and actions, don’t want the peons to be able to defend themselves.

So the average citizen should also be able to carry a means to defend themselves, especially if they don’t have the financial means to hire bodyguards right?

Both of the would-be muggers that tried it. One got a face full of pepper spray and the other one wet themselves when I drew my duty-weapon on them.

                • IntolerantLiberal December 28th, 2014 at 01:43

Um lets see how many criminals mugged, robbed, raped, and tried to murder someone in the last hour?

              • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 00:24

It.s because the “average” citizen can carry a gun that they must take precautions. Are you saying that they should not be allowed to protect themselves while the average citizen should be able to?

          • bobrobertson December 28th, 2014 at 00:13

They don’t release that info, but more threats are made against Obama than any other president. How many fence jumpers have there been?

Is it not hypocritical to have firearms protecting themselves but they would prevent the average citizen from the same opportunity?

          • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 00:23

Who is “taking your guns away?” What legislation was passed that does so? What legislation is currently under consideration that would do so? If there is any, what chance does that legislation have of passing and being ruled constitutional?

            • meadmkr December 28th, 2014 at 00:31

Look at CA/CT/MD’s “approved” gun list as an example of “gun control” run amok.
Firearms that were legal to own are now prohibited in these states at the whim of some bureaucrat. Allowing the federal government the same level of power is unwise and insane.

              • Jay Cee December 28th, 2014 at 02:03

The approved handgun list in California isnt unwise or insane. There was a gun I was going to buy with aluminum grips and I was prevented from buying it and instead had to buy the same gun with the wood grips. I was lucky that the list kept me from buying the unsafe aluminum grip gun. I could have cut my hand and got a very bad infection!

            • IntolerantLiberal December 28th, 2014 at 01:42

Why is it that rich liberals who want guns out of the hands of the peasants are able to pay for ARMED body guards?

              • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 01:57

I’m guessing because they are rich. Whose guns have they taken away? Be specific.

              • Mark Travers December 28th, 2014 at 02:04

                Uh ? Dumb analogy. Geez.

            • Jay Cee December 28th, 2014 at 01:58

The assault weapons ban that lasted 10 years. It prevented people from buying any, and that’s as good as “taking them away”. Diane Fienstein just tried to pass another ban not that long ago. She failed but she tried. See the reason gun owners support the NRA is that we know that if there wasn’t an NRA, we pretty much have a complete gun ban. If no one was there to stop some politicians, gun owners would be sunk. The Brady campaign pushed hard in the 1980s for a handgun ban. This was before heller and McDonald obviously but they were already trying. I’m sure if there was no NRA most people would have no guns. Of course criminals would still have some of the ones floating around.

              • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 02:03

So, no-one is taking anyone’s guns away.

                • Jay Cee December 28th, 2014 at 02:23

No, with the NRA and other gun rights groups fighting for us, guns will not be taken away.

                    Then why all the hysteria?

                    • Jay Cee December 28th, 2014 at 03:11

There’s no hysteria. I came here wondering why Shannon Watts was surprised the NRA blocked her when she’s pretty much blocked anyone who ever made a comment that was remotely pro gun rights.

                    • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 03:25

I was referring to the right-wing hysteria about people coming to take their guns when no-one is.

As to her blocking people, I can only assume that it’s her site and she can do what she wants.

                    • Jay Cee December 28th, 2014 at 03:40

Yeah she can block away, and so can the NRA. But if she thinks it’s because of fear they’re blocking, they are mistaken. Well maybe the fear of being nagged. Sort of like they kept nagging businesses until they get their way. They seem more like the bullies sometimes.

                    • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 03:50

I have to be completely honest and admit that I didn’t read the article. But, I guess that we could agree that it’s a contentious issue and both sides employ questionable tactics. Which, I guess, is part of the problem. Every issue gets divided into “sides” and both seem determined to win at any cost.

Since the demise of HP, I haven’t found a place that I specifically go to comment on a regular basis. I used to go to RS but they have become somewhat HP-like lately..

RS did? That’s one of the reasons I don’t post there much and why I made the HP reference. They banned a lot of good people.

In asking them why, I was told that they can ban people simply for criticizing
the articles. I couldn’t believe that but, apparently, it’s in their TOS.

                      Good points, Dave!
That *still* doesn’t explain why RS banned my husband’s IP (my husband and I have different ISP’s) when he never criticized them once. They’re creepy at RS.

                    • MagnaDave★★ December 28th, 2014 at 21:51

Someone, I can’t remember who, told me that they had been banned from a site that they had never even visited. So maybe both cases were some sort of a glitch?

I have very mixed feelings about RS. Ironically, right after I decided that I should spend more time there, they changed the format to a more tabloid style and banned some people for no good reasons. I went to bat for A2P and contacted the main moderator there. Although she was very polite and maybe somewhat understanding, she just couldn’t seem to admit that he had been banned unfairly, much less, reinstate him. Although, to be fair, she said that he would have to contact them directly before they would consider reinstating him which I can understand. A2P, understandably, wasn’t willing to do that.

RS, to me, has become too much like HP for my tastes. Too many “controversial” headlines and stories seemingly designed only to get clicks. But, like the old HP, there are still some good people posting there so I check in, maybe read and/or comment on a story of two, and see what everyone is saying.

RS did? That’s one of the reasons I don’t post there much and why I made the HP reference. They banned a lot of good people.

In asking them why, I was told that they can ban people simply for criticizing
the articles. I couldn’t believe that but, apparently, it’s in their TOS.

                      Good points, Dave!
That *still* doesn’t explain why RS banned my husband’s IP (my husband and I have different ISP’s) when he has never criticized them once. He doesn’t post on any political blogs like RS, whatsoever.
                      They’re creepy at RS!

                    • Nobody's Miracle (MagnaDave) December 28th, 2014 at 22:51

Meadmrk, poor analogy. Bloomberg and Watts are supporting tougher gun control laws such as Background checks. Those views are not mutually exclusive from having security guards. Grow-up.

      • mea_mark December 28th, 2014 at 10:26

I bet they all passed background checks. I wonder how many of the trolls here today posting would fail? Maybe that is why they are against background checks, they are mentally unstable and they know it.

        • raincheck December 28th, 2014 at 11:58

BINGO!! The real reason they don’t want BG checks is because there is something about them, that would disqualify them from buying a gun….

    • IntolerantLiberal December 28th, 2014 at 02:41

Sadly that has become the common theme for most Liberals. Our party has been hijacked and they don’t even know it.

  3. Fenix Izgawd December 28th, 2014 at 00:13

Matt W. You are a retard, the NRA is relevant, and with the help of the NRA this election (2014) we wiped the MDA and all the Democrats ass up from a major beat down. Most of America does not want background checks and common sense laws, Because these laws are lies, and ways to track and a check list for gun grabbers to know whom to go after, if they ever try to over turn the Second Amendment! They will be taking my guns only out of my cold dead hands! People like you and the MDA are sick in the head, and need to be removed from MY country! This is a country that build on the blood of people that laid down their lives to keep it free and to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Pansies like you and the MDA need to realize they are fighting an uphill battle, just a couple of weeks ago people disobeyed that stupid I594 law, and this is just the start these laws are not legal, because the 2nd Amendment trumps all other laws! deal with it or leave this country! Long Live the NRA!!!!

    • Mark Travers December 28th, 2014 at 01:55

Fenix, uh, you are wrong. In Washington State, the NRA put forth millions of dollars to defeat a proposed initiative that would put forth tougher gun laws such as mandatory background checks on private gun sales. The pro gun control law won overwhelmingly and the NRA got their ass kicked. Also, CA same thing. Your ‘spin’ on who is winning is just fatuous statements. Moreover, NRA fought very hard to Defeat Vivek Murthy as Obama’s Surgeon General be he won his nomination. Keep drinking that NRA marketing Kool-Aid and calling folks ‘commies’ or ‘pansies’ who support tougher gun laws but that is NOT working too well for the NRA.

      • Fenix Izgawd December 28th, 2014 at 15:49

California is becoming a shale issues state! People in Washington State, have been misinformed and lied to with that bill (I594) and it will not stand the test of time. As for the loses this last election, there were more in the win column then the loss column. Bloomberg wasted a lot of money and didn’t get as much as he was hoping for! But I am sure you will bring some lame made up numbers like those uptight bitches in MDA!

        • Mark Travers December 28th, 2014 at 15:54

Fenix, continue the mis-information that the NRA is so known for. The fact of the matter is that the NRA marketing machine tried everything they could, everything, and even supported another Initiative in order to confuse the voters but they failed big time. Other states are now looking at Washington state as a model state for tougher gun control laws. You really need to read the article from the Wall Street Journal about 3 weeks back because they are a conservative outfit and even they wrote that the NRA lost some important political issues this time around. And, the latest lost by the NRA to try and block President Obama’s nominee for the USA Surgeon General blew-up in their face. Keep drinking that NRA Kool-Aid because I fully understand it makes your unstable self feel safe. LOL

That describes the right-wingers here who want to see liberals deported, or wish death on those who disagree with them. (see comment by dirtybluefl above).

It’s the Right who traffic in death threats. Fascism is (and always has been) a right-wing phenomenon.

NRA just got their ass kicked in Washington state on trying to defeat a gun control initiative. Other states are now looking to copy the legislation from Washington State.

“In the only state where a gun issue was directly on a ballot this week, Washington residents passed Initiative 594, the measure that will require criminal background checks on all firearms sales and transfers in the state, including at gun shows and on the Internet. The proposal, more commonly referred to as “I-594,” gained 60% of voter support, according to the NBC News Election Unit.”

    • Scar December 28th, 2014 at 08:31

The wording of the bill says “anything that uses gunpowder”
Which means things like the flare guns people have on their boats, and certain construction equipment, like concrete nail guns. Both of those will now require background checks before they can be bought, or given to someone else, lest they become criminals in the eye of that law.

I don’t live in Washington, my state just passed a bill to allow suppressors while hunting, but those that do live there are now faced with this.
I just hope places like Lowe’s and Home Depot and the coastal marinas have FFLs on hand to run those background checks on those items I mentioned.

          • raincheck December 28th, 2014 at 10:21

If you don’t live in that state, why are you so FREAKED out?
I’m sure the people that have a need for “nail-guns” or “flare guns” will manage, without much difficulties… hopefully now you can get some sleep…

            • Scar December 28th, 2014 at 13:05

Who said I was freaked out? It’s mostly unenforceable anyways, many county sheriffs have said they won’t enforce the new law.

I’m sure the average boater and construction worker will manage just fine, too, when they realize they need to fill out a form 4473 to buy/transfer those items before they take the family out on the lake or ocean or go build a new building.

      • Mark Travers December 28th, 2014 at 11:29

Good ! The NRA marketing machine tried your ‘spin’ on this and it did not work. That being said, the NRA’s brand has been hurt a lot and they are losing on issues now. They recently fought hard against the newly appointed U.S. Surgeon General of the United States and they lost on that one too. There extreme views have lost credibility for many Americans.

MDA has blocked pro 2nd amendment folks, including me, for quite some time now from Facebook comments, etc.. Shannon Troughton “Watts”, is a fraud. She’s a high powered public relations professional who uses a pseudonym to con her constituents. A far cry from the “stay at home mom” she purports to be to her bleating followers.

    • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 08:07

Big difference between working from home and being a “stay at home mom”. The persona she projects is a homemaker that woke up one morning enraged by Sandy Hook. In fact, she’s a high powered PR executive bought and paid for by Bloomberg.

          • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 12:04

so you keep saying without siting references, buddy. the NRA has bought half of congress and all of your angels

          • Anomaly 100 December 28th, 2014 at 13:51

You do know that a mother can also work at home, RIGHT?

      • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 10:40

She portrays herself as a stay at home mom. In reality she was a high powered PR executive with WellPoint Health, GE Healthcare, and even evil chemical giant Monsanto. This is no average ordinary mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.

        • Um Cara December 28th, 2014 at 10:54

This is no average ordinary mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.

I’m not sure why a mother who is/has been a successful professional is a ‘fraud’ for then working on gun control stuff. You seem more articulate and more capable of writing coherent sentences than most of the folks who have hopped over to the site for this thread.

Could you explain why any of that matters and why it merits more attention from you than the horrible abuse she has received?

          • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:06

She positions herself as a stay at home mom to garner support. She’s being disingenuous and manipulative. As a Public Relations professional, she understands that being “just a mommy” sells with her target audience. It’s manufactured. She’s bought and paid for by the Bloomberg campaign. As for her being “horribly abused”, it’s nothing in comparison to the abuses she wants heaped on law abiding citizens acting within their rights. She’s not against illegal guns, she’s against all guns. There’s a huge difference.

            • raincheck December 28th, 2014 at 11:09

“She’s bought and paid for by the Bloomberg campaign”
              And you know this because?

              • Old Jarhead December 28th, 2014 at 11:15

                http://www.businessinsider.com/mike-bloomberg-spend-more-than-50-million-on-gun-control-group-2014-4
The Bloomberg MAIG and the Moms Demand Action formed the group Everytown. Before the merger, MDA finances were at best minimal.

              • Mark Morrison December 28th, 2014 at 11:18

It is not hidden. Bloomberg’s Everytown finances MDA.

              • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:21

Do your homework. “And this week, Bloomberg and Watts announced a new organization, Everytown for Gun Safety, and a $50 million plan to hold anti-safety politicians accountable in this year’s elections… with far greater investments possible down the line.” Bloomberg is financing Troughton “Watts”.

                • Carla Akins December 28th, 2014 at 11:50

After – Bloomberg donated to her cause after she began the group and as she started to get a following. The same as any activist. And she is a stay at home, she doesn’t hold a job outside the home – particularly before she started MDA – how would you like for her to refer to herself?

                • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 12:01

you’re terrible at homework, crutch. and you just received a wedgie and a swirlie for lying twice.

            • mea_mark December 28th, 2014 at 11:36

So if she is now a stay at home mom, you want her to say she is not? Why would you want that, so you can then call her a liar? You have an agenda also and your disingenuousness is duly noted.

            • Um Cara December 28th, 2014 at 11:52

As a Public Relations professional, she understands that being “just a mommy” sells with her target audience. It’s manufactured.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with some amazing women who achieved great success. Many of them were mothers. A couple worked from home.

It never would have entered my head to consider them ‘frauds’ for being mothers & working from home. I’m not aware of any specific ‘stay at home mom’ criteria that caps a woman’s professional success level in order for her to claim the title. But it’s not something I have ever thought about one way or the other – so perhaps I missed it.

Could you point me to the source you are using for your personal definition of ‘stay at home mom’?

            • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 11:59

ok crutch, stop lying. liars deserve wedgies and swirlies. unless they torture people, than it’s off with their head.

Yeah I agree, everyone should be more callous about the massacre of 20 kids and 6 adults in 5 minutes.

Did you hear about the lawsuit? I still don’t understand the legal theory that it navigates to avoid liability exemption Bush signed into law in 2005.

          • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:05

The conversation isn’t about Sandy Hook, it’s about Shannon “Watts” Troughton. You do what she does, try and change the subject rather than dealing with the facts of the matter at hand, her identity and deception. Nice try.

            • FrancisMcManus December 28th, 2014 at 11:08

I can read. “.. mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.”

Actually, this post is about the horrific replies she received on social media after her tweet – but don’t strain yourself.

              • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:16

The article is about Twitter, this conversation is about Shannon “Watts” Troughton. But you didn’t “strain yourself” by taking the time to understand the context of the thread now did you? It’s easier to, once again, try and change the subject.

I think Crucible Arms is having his own private conversation in his head then forgetting what he said.

                • Sarah Bowles December 28th, 2014 at 11:25

Why are you being so rude and insulting to people?

                  • Carla Akins December 28th, 2014 at 11:29

Really? This is what you call insulting? What about the things they called and said to Shannon? That’s okay with you?

                  • raincheck December 28th, 2014 at 12:14

STOP IT with your self righteousness!!

        • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 13:06

Further bad news for ya hon, a person can be a stay at home mom/father AND and work from home..my mother worked and at times was a stay at home mom, what I don’t understand is why that’s so difficult for you to accept. I bet you’re like most, that you’ve never ever even read the 2nd Amendment (notice the capital A) in its entirety. Read it and come back and we’ll talk about what you’ve gotten from it, try using Google to begin your research.

      • Sarah Bowles December 28th, 2014 at 11:24

Ok. People are getting banned on here for being a troll and then here you are being insulting to this man for choosing to comment on the subject. Very rude indeed.

Just to be clear, are the “way things are here” to mean vicious personal attacks by ideologues are completely acceptable…as long as they match the ideology of the page?

I just want to be sure I understand.

            • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 11:38

What was vicious? Did you mean sarcastic instead possibly? Lighten up why don’t cha Mark you’ll last longer okay.

              • Mark Morrison December 28th, 2014 at 11:40

                Do you find:

“Like teabaggers the NRA slime and filth settles to the bottom of the barrel.”

or the various allusions to sexuality, penis size and socio-economic status to be in good fun?

                • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 11:47

But, but Mark have you read the other commnts? Just wondering.

                  • Mark Morrison December 28th, 2014 at 11:51

Oh yes. I have been in this debate for years now, and have seen some extraordinarily disgusting behavior from both sides. It doesn’t surprise me anymore. What does continue to surprise (and amaze) me every day however, is how blindly partisan so many are, and how they manufacture outrage at things individuals ideologically opposed to them do, while ignoring the same behavior from those similarly inclined in their beliefs.

                    • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 11:57

Allow me to ask this of you Mark, how would you feel about being referred to as “bleating followers”? By the way, gunz are a penis extension for too many so called men who feel that they have to define themselves with the number of gunz, cars, motorcycles they own and therefore think of themselves as inadequate in that department but sadly continue to define themselves in this unfortunate way.

                    • Mark Morrison December 28th, 2014 at 12:06

See? You just did it. It appears that far too many of you are unable to carry on this conversation without it devolving into ridiculous name calling and childish mud-slinging.

Read my comments. Find the insults. You will be looking for a while I promise.

As far as your question about the “bleating followers,” I would dismiss it (and the person making the comment) as too lost in partisan intransigence to communicate with effectively. I have had anti-gun activists tell me that they hoped my kids got shot. How does that sound to you? How would you feel about that? That doesn’t mean that I believe that all of you feel that way. It was just a comment by an obviously disturbed and angry person who I dismissed as such.

                    • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 12:41

Since you of course know nothing of my education or work history Mark then let’s just stop for a quick sec and give it (the part about “See? You just did it”) stuff just a bit of thought then…..
Source your claim of anti-gun activists telling you that crap about your kids then I’ll believe you Mark if not then you’re just making a statement that’s not really believable.
Before I let you go do you realize that we’ve had what’s commonly referred to as a conversation? Just thought I’d point that tidbit out as 1 of the “far too many of you” people. I’ve been reading since age 4 and you stand out like a sore thumb Mark. And Dismissed! lol ;o)

You have no idea what I have seen through my work or volunteering young lady and believe me when I tell you that YOU can’t imagine what I have seen let alone dealt with. Don’t ever think that you can lecture me Sarah ’cause it’s not going to work alright? As long as you understand that you and I will get along just fine.

  20. Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 07:36

    • allison1050 December 28th, 2014 at 09:07

Umm, now connect the dots to the article sweet thing.

      • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:36

Ummm…. the article starts with the NRA blocking Trautman from their Twitter feed. My comment starts with 2nd amendment supporters being blocked from her feed, facebook page, etc. If you need me to explain it further to you, just let me know, honey.

        • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 13:06

        • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:42

Big difference between working from home and being a “stay at home mom”. The persona she projects is a homemaker that woke up one morning enraged by Sandy Hook. In fact, she’s a high powered PR executive bought and paid for by Bloomberg.

          • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 13:04

so you keep saying without siting references, buddy. the NRA has bought half of congress and all of your angels

          • Anomaly 100 December 28th, 2014 at 14:51

You do know that a mother can also work at home, RIGHT?

      • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 11:40

She portrays herself as a stay at home mom. In reality she was a high powered PR executive with WellPoint Health, GE Healthcare, and even evil chemical giant Monsanto. This is no average ordinary mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.

        • Um Cara December 28th, 2014 at 11:54

This is no average ordinary mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.

I’m not sure why a mother who is/has been a successful professional is a ‘fraud’ for then working on gun control stuff. You seem more articulate and more capable of writing coherent sentences than most of the folks who have hopped over to the site for this thread.

Could you explain why any of that matters and why it merits more attention from you than the horrible abuse she has received?

          • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 12:06

She positions herself as a stay at home mom to garner support. She’s being disingenuous and manipulative. As a Public Relations professional, she understands that being “just a mommy” sells with her target audience. It’s manufactured. She’s bought and paid for by the Bloomberg campaign. As for her being “horribly abused”, it’s nothing in comparison to the abuses she wants heaped on law abiding citizens acting within their rights. She’s not against illegal guns, she’s against all guns. There’s a huge difference.

            • raincheck December 28th, 2014 at 12:09

“She’s bought and paid for by the Bloomberg campaign”
              And you know this because?

              • Old Jarhead December 28th, 2014 at 12:15

                http://www.businessinsider.com/mike-bloomberg-spend-more-than-50-million-on-gun-control-group-2014-4
The Bloomberg MAIG and the Moms Demand Action formed the group Everytown. Before the merger, MDA finances were at best minimal.

              • Mark Morrison December 28th, 2014 at 12:18

It is not hidden. Bloomberg’s Everytown finances MDA.

              • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 12:21

Do your homework. “And this week, Bloomberg and Watts announced a new organization, Everytown for Gun Safety, and a $50 million plan to hold anti-safety politicians accountable in this year’s elections… with far greater investments possible down the line.” Bloomberg is financing Troughton “Watts”.

                • Carla Akins December 28th, 2014 at 12:50

After – Bloomberg donated to her cause after she began the group and as she started to get a following. The same as any activist. And she is a stay at home, she doesn’t hold a job outside the home – particularly before she started MDA – how would you like for her to refer to herself?

                • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 13:01

you’re terrible at homework, crutch. and you just received a wedgie and a swirlie for lying twice.

            • mea_mark December 28th, 2014 at 12:36

So if she is now a stay at home mom, you want her to say she is not? Why would you want that, so you can then call her a liar? You have an agenda also and your disingenuousness is duly noted.

            • Um Cara December 28th, 2014 at 12:52

            • Tom Guy December 28th, 2014 at 12:59

ok crutch, stop lying. liars deserve wedgies and swirlies. unless they torture people, than it’s off with their head.

        • FrancisMcManus December 28th, 2014 at 11:55

Yeah I agree, everyone should be more callous about the massacre of 20 kids and 6 adults in 5 minutes.

Did you hear about the lawsuit? I still don’t understand the legal theory that it navigates to avoid liability exemption Bush signed into law in 2005.

          • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 12:05

The conversation isn’t about Sandy Hook, it’s about Shannon “Watts” Troughton. You do what she does, try and change the subject rather than dealing with the facts of the matter at hand, her identity and deception. Nice try.

            • FrancisMcManus December 28th, 2014 at 12:08

I can read. “.. mother of five who just coincidentally freaked out over the Sandy Hook shootings.”

            • Carla Akins December 28th, 2014 at 12:09

Actually, this post is about the horrific replies she received on social media after her tweet – but don’t strain yourself.

              • Crucible Arms December 28th, 2014 at 12:16

The article is about Twitter, this conversation is about Shannon “Watts” Troughton. But you didn’t “strain yourself” by taking the time to understand the context of the thread now did you? It’s easier to, once again, try and change the subject.

              • FrancisMcManus December 28th, 2014 at 12:22
