Rep. Peter King: Obama Should Invite Darren Wilson To White House

Posted by | November 25, 2014 17:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

Congressman Peter King wants President Obama to invite Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson to the White House.

What would that accomplish? Well, King, on Fox Business Network, that the White House should tell Wilson, “You’ve gone through four months of smear and slander, and the least we can do is tell you that it’s unfortunate that it happened and thank you for doing your job.”

He panned Obama’s address last night as “lackluster” and lamented, “I wish he’d said one good word about the police, one good word about Officer Wilson, who’d gone through all this.”

In other words he should reach out to all of the right wing racist in America and make them feel good about their racist views towards black people, and the fact that right wingers believe that it is fine for the police to freely murder black people without having to pay any consequences for their actions.Because police murdering black people makes racist right wingers feel safe and secure, and justify in their racist views towards black Americans.

King went on to say, “If I had a son, he’d look just like Darren Wilson.”

An 18 year old young man is dead and again the person who shot him is painted as the victim. This is pure bs and these bastards are waaaay over the line. Brown did not have anyone defending him in this case, the GJ was presented a case where the prosecutor defended the cop, not the victim. All they had to do was have this case brought to court, if this case doesn’t meet the criteria for a court proceeding I don’t know what does.

Peter King was a strong backer of the IRA,(terrorist group) during the 1970s and 80s..

Regarding the 30 years of violence during which the IRA killed over 1,700 people, including Lord Mountbatten, Lord Kaberry, Sir Anthony Berry MP
and over 600 civilians, King said, “If civilians are killed in an
attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I
will not morally blame the IRA for it…
During the murder trial of an IRA member in the 1980s, a judge in
Northern Ireland ejected Peter King from the courtroom, describing King as “an
    obvious collaborator with the IRA”..

“I wish he’d said one good word about the police, one good word about Officer Wilson,…” Here, Peter, here’s the only appropriate statement that the President should have made, “It’s a wonder the police don’t kill more young black and brown men. I admire their restraint.”

It seems to me that regardless of the details, the fact that there are
numerous discrepancies in the stories of all parties involved, and given the deadly force used on an unarmed citizen, these facts would meet the
requirement of ‘probable cause’ that a crime may have been committed, and would therefore demand a public trial before a representative jury of their peers instead of a secret process choreographed by the prosecutor alone!

In a world where justice is valued, and civility reigns, you are correct…
