Obama: We Must Accept The Grand Jury’s Decision and React Peacefully

President Obama spoke after the announcement that Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted.  He said, “There are good people on all sides of this debate.” He added, “This is not just an issue for Ferguson. This is an issue for America.”  We’ve made progress in America, “but there are still problems…there are issues in which the law too often feels as if it’s being applied in a discriminatory fashion.”

President Barack Obama says he joins with Michael Brown’s family in urging peaceful protests after a grand jury decided not to indict the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed the unarmed, black 18-year-old.

Obama made the comments Monday moments after official word of the grand jury’s decision.

The president said first and foremost the nation is built on the rule of law. He said despite anger and intense disagreement on either side, Americans need to accept the decision that the grand jury made.

Surprised he didn’t say “This could have been my son” apparently the President had all the information on this incident and wasn’t prepared to stick his neck out like he did for that thug Trayvon Martin another travesty of justice, both initial eye witness accounts were flawed beyond belief.

In both cases an unarmed Black kid stood his ground and defended himself against a gun-toting racist thug.

But of course racist Klansmen will blame the victim.
