Bristol Palin was deemed an “advocate” because she is Sarah Palin’s daughter. If she had been black and in poverty, she would have been characterized as a slut, welfare bunny, etc. The drama that played out between her an her “baby daddy” would never have made the new.
I don’t know if you are a single mom and are coming at me from the “a hit dog will holler” point of view.
But I meant what I said. If Bristol Palin had not had a child out of wedlock as the daughter of almost a governor, Sarah Palin, no one would care what she said and none of this nonsense would be newsworthy.
And, yes, if Bristol can make slurs against the president because she is not intelligent enough to understand what she reads and because she does not like him, then yes, I guess we do get tgo pick and choose who we make slurs against depending on if one likes the person or not.

Which wouldn’t be right to do and hopefully you would have said so if printed.
My point is if wrong for one, wrong for the other. Commenting on what she says and how off it may be is fair game, but a slur is a slur and when it is done, it is wrong, in my view.
