Gun Activists: Politicians Who Support Gun Laws Should Be Shot

Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America continued on his quest to give politicians what he calls a “healthy fear” of being shot because he believes that fear insures that they will “behave” and support gun rights.

That didn’t happen in Gabriel Giffords’ case, though.

Pratt spoke with extremist right-wing commentator Stan Solomon on October 28th to credit court rulings striking down Washington, D.C., gun laws for a drop in homicides in the city while deeming proponents of such laws to be “criminals’ friends” who “hate self-defense.”

That’s when Solomon got violent because clearly threatening the lives of elected officials is what the Second Amendment was created for.

Solomon said that politicians who support gun restrictions “really are the criminals, forget the friend,” and the two then agreed that “thugs in government” are worse than violent criminals, Right Wing Watch reports.

“It’s hard to get rid of these politicians,” Pratt said, to which Solomon responded by suggesting that politicians who support gun laws should be shot, telling Pratt, “that’s why we need to have guns, you know what, more than one politician has been dispatched while doing a dance trying to avoid certain, shall we say, metal jackets.”

Pratt replied: “May their number increase.”

It comes as no surprise that Pratt agreed. After all, he called the standoff at the Bundy ranch a “turning point in modern America.” And yes, it really was. It’s a time that will go down in history that will portray the present time as an era when extremists can avoid paying their bills by pointing weapons at federal agents and not have to answer for it.

It must be terrible to live in such delusion and fear. Most of these gun nuts are just cowards with self esteem issues.

Many of them have guns because naturally they have their short comings.

Is there any doubt in anyone’s mind that these idiots want a war, and a certain twisted part of me hope they get it.

The last Australian mass shooting was the Port Arthur massacre in 1996. Our Government introduced a gun buy back and amnesty later that year and again in 2003. Guess what? We haven’t had a mass shootings of innocent civilians since.

That just means you have more murders by knives and axes and blunt instruments, right? Because there’s no way fewer guns means fewer murders, right? Because guns don’t kill people, guns are just a tool, right? So next Australia is going to ban cars to prevent all the deaths from auto accidents, right? Did I miss anything?

and that is exactlly the reason behind the need for background checks and mental health evaluations for people wanting guns and for disallowing the open or concealed carry in public places
