Crazy Lady Gets On TV, Starts Talking About Tea Party ‘Sanity’

Posted by | November 9, 2014 19:32 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

On Sunday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) appeared on CNN to discuss the midterm election results and what that means for the Tea Party.

Bachmann argued that Congress could shed its “do nothing” label now that Republicans have control of both the House and the Senate, and with the infighting between the Tea Party and Republicans, the results should be hysterical.

Crooks And Liars reports:

“It will be communicating on what we heard on last Tuesday from the American people, they do want us to move forward, they do want us to get things done,” she explained. “But the first thing they did is they held up a big stop sign. They said, ‘We don’t like what’s been coming out of Washington, D.C. Listen to us.'”

“And if we hear in Washington, D.C only are talking about D.C. and not about back home, then we’re going to be in trouble,” the congresswoman added. “We have to implement what people said to us on Tuesday, then we’ll be successful.”

Bachmann asserted that the Tea Party message from the people who voted was clear: “It was the energy of fiscal sanity.”

“That’s what the Tea Party is, it’s maligned. And people don’t — misunderstand what it is, but it’s really about bringing fiscal sanity,” she insisted. “That was the message of Tuesday, and that’s a united message, both in the House now and in the Senate.”

Watch:

By “fiscal sanity” I guess Bachmann means to obliterate the middle class, gut what she calls ‘entitlement” programs, stop the gay population from obtaining equal rights,  and most of all, let’s stop Agenda 21. Oh, and the birth certificate.

Looks like Bachmann has been taking English lessons from Palin.

      BACHMANN / PALIN IN 2015!

Sarah’s book signing and speech circuit schedule would conflict with any political campaigning until 2017. And besides, she’s got all those 2016 teabagger candidates to torpedo.

That would be Teabonics lessons, neither of them speak English.

Believe me that wasn’t a compliment! You’re just too biased to notice!!

              Awwww…that’s a shame, I thought I’d made a new friend :.-(

I’m not sure what you mean by biased…I’m so confused :-0

                • Mephistophiles November 10th, 2014 at 17:03

How could you think that I could possibly be one of those nasty Republicans highpckts? I have sadz :..-(( I considered you a dear friend, but alas, it’s not to be.x

I learnt so much from you highpckts, like embracing my chronic uptightness, and not being embarrassed by overuse of the exclamation mark. (I love that double exclamation you do…soooo manly!!).

And that picture of your dog always warms my heart. In fact I trod on a dog just like yours the other day. It made me sad :-( – my shoes are ruined.

It seems you are too dumb to understand my original comment, so I’m afraid this is our last goodbye – farewell my angry friend, I hope the treatment works out for you!!…xxx

“We have to implement what people said to us on Tuesday, then we’ll be successful.”

So I ask, just what exactly was said on Tuesday??? 2/3 of the people did not even bother to Vote or could it be 2/3 were Blocked from Voting??? All of a sudden she seems to care what the people want or are asking for, if she is, perhaps Candy could have brought her to the carpet to make such mention??? Heh, Nuthin’ Doin’!!! Damn this gets OLD!!!!

If you watch closely, the spirals in Bachmann’s eyes will go from turning clockwise to turning counter-clockwise. But you gotta watch closely or else you’ll miss it….

“That’s what the Tea Party is, it’s maligned. And people don’t —
misunderstand what it is, but it’s really about bringing fiscal sanity,”
    she insisted

Except many of us are not that gullible to take that with one iota of honesty. We can go into 4-5trillion dollar deficits and and a national dept 3 times the size of our GDP, as long as we don’t have a black president and it’s the GOP. If they really cared about fiscal policy, the TOPers would read facts and never vote for the GOPers, considering their spending history.

Of fiscal policy doesn’t have to be a proven theme within your movement, by waving the confederate flag and arming yourselves to the teeth with assault weapons.

“That was the message of Tuesday, and that’s a united message, both in the House now and in the Senate.” Yes, Michelle, that’s why close to 70% of the electorate stayed home and voted in larger numbers for Dancing With The Stars.
