Armed Open Carry Group To March Through St. Louis One Day After School Shooting

After yet another school shooting, many are praying for Marysville, a small city in Washington populated with 63,269 residents. Others are wondering what can be done to prevent the next school shooting because we all know it’s inevitable. A 14-year-old boy with a grudge and a gun went on a rampage

An Open Carry activist Jaylen Fryberg, the latest school shooter, is seen in this social media photo expressing his gratitude for his parents’ birthday gift: a rifle.

Naturally, an Open Carry group is planning a march today in St. Louis, thus stoking the flames in Ferguson, as well as expressing their blatant disregard for another mass shooting.

SB656 — which just passed in Sept — allows open carry for those who have a conceal carry permit. However, Amendment 5  — which passed in August —  makes 2nd Amendment rights in Missouri “unalienable.”  The gun rights advocates don’t know what this means.

Some of them are saying Amendment 5 now gives them “Constitutional Carry” which means you can carry any gun without any permit or training. IKR? Who needs training?

According to my source, some of the protesters today want to get a citation so that they can take it to court in order to challenge and test the meaning of Amendment 5. If they win a court case — which is likely —  that would mean it would be finally be clear that permits and training are not required.

Meet Jeffry Smith, the organizer of the event.

The group’s Facebook page states, “SLUNG long guns are welcome *with proper muzzle control*, as are holstered pistols.”

I wanna make Kyle a sammich with a side of freedom fries.

No need to worry because, “I’m also aware that a careless or willfully reckless gun owner may do something stupid and/or dangerous with their gun – like pointing it in someone’s direction, unholstering it, or carrying a longarm without a sling.”

Dakota is exercising his rights, y’all.

If there’s a “misfire” they’ve already predetermined that it will be the fault of liberals, or something.

166 people say they will attend this sh*t show, including NRA supporters, conspiracy theorists, ‘pro-life’ advocates, Darren Wilson supporters, doomsday preppers and others. Like-minded folk.

Matt will be there.

Charlie’s going. Yay!

The organizer of the event, Jeffry Smith, a gun fetishist from Ohio, encourages children to attend the march but discourages “Don’t Tread On Me” flags and clothing, camouflage wear, and “grungy clothes” because he says they are not a militia. But be sure to not wear dark clothes. You see, with dark clothes the guns don’t stand out as much, he explains.

Dave is flashing a gang sign, yo.

Some think Obama is an evil dictator. (I went through all of their Facebook pages).

Kevin’s going.

Obviously these little fellers are members of the 80s band Devo.

The gun Jaylen used in the shooting has been traced to his father, according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation.

Investigators are searching the family home.

A Beretta .40-caliber handgun is believed to have been used, a federal law enforcement source told CNN.

One thing we do know: The bodies haven’t even been buried in Marysville and an Open Carry march is planned already, because these ‘pro-lifers’ just can’t wait. They must march for freedom, or something. We don’t know these people. Don’t ask us to trust complete strangers, especially unhinged conspiracy theorists walking through an already embattled city with long guns, only one day after another school shooting. Obviously their judgement is off.

Big thanks to my source whose anonymity will be respected here. You rock.

The Liberal Logic strikes again, I’m sure that this event was deliberately planned Months in Advance to coincide with this unfortunate attack……

Right wing logic strikes again. How dare anyone suggest that common decency and sensitivity to those who have just lost a loved one to a gunshot might be a reason to delay another self-centered display of firearms fetishism.

The NFL had planned its 2001 season months in advance. So maybe they should have just gone ahead and played the games right after 9/11/2001 instead of cancelling them.

Damn liberals, always worrying about stupid things like basic human decency.
