Bachmann is one of the most visible conservatives in congress and introducedlegislation that would strip Americans who associate with ISIS of their citizenship.
She has also gotten into hot water for claiming there are extreme Islamist elements in the U.S. government. In 2012, she alleged that Huma Abedin, a close aide to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was linked to the extremist Muslim Brotherhood. At the time, she was rebuked by many — including other Republicans. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called the accusations “sinister” on the floor of the Senate.

Because (against all logic that I can muster) she is a duly-elected public official. Any and all threats against same should be dealt with aggressively. However, after next January, she is on her own. Perhaps (if we’re lucky) she can find a hole deep enough to hide from all the people she has offended, but somehow I doubt it.

We haven’t heard a peep out of Bachmann about this. I guess she does know when to finally sit down and STFU. If this is true, I think she brought the unwanted attention onto herself with all of the nutty, batsh*t crazy comments she’s been making about Muslims. She was playing political games when she made the comments. She had no idea that some very dangerous people have been paying attention to her careless, lie-filled, deliberately provocative rhetoric and have finally decided to let her know that they know exactly who, what, and where she is. Bachmann has become accustomed to saying all kinds of crazy sh*t to create a sh*t storm, and then walking away from it. Well, it appears that ISIS/ISIL might have decided to hold her accountable for her words/actions for the first time in her life.

They ultimately feed off of each other, much like what was outlined in the BBC documentary; The Power of Nightmares; The Politics of Fear, which outlined how the American neo-conservatives and the radical Islamists fed each other and restored their own power and authority through fear (most of their own making).
