He definitely has some type of title at a church, I am sure of that as much as I am sure he has a reserved seat at the local nudie bar.

Fire up ole sparky! Lethally inject, or make this clown break rocks in the hot sun. Save Alabama taxpayers from supporting this grifter if he doesn’t pay-up in advance: ‘convicted, Hubbard faces a maximum penalty of two to 20 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines for each count.’

I think prison will be good for him, he can finally have a boyfriend and no one will question it.

He can reenact the AL prison version of Deliverance character Ned Beatty’s Bobby Trippe!

Ooh! Forgot about the original Governor Ultrasound! It’s so hard to remember all the Republican convicts and soon-to-be-convicts without a score card. Thanks for that!

they just can’t help themselves. the party that claims to have god is more corrupt than the party that keeps religion out of politics

    • majii October 20th, 2014 at 20:44

Right, Denise, and I think the reason for the difference is that one party talks about its members’ Christian principles constantly while the other party actually practices them.

    23 felony charges!

Mike Hubbard is competing with Bob McDonnell.

Is this how he led a historic Republican takeover of the state Legislature during the 2010 election?

In the 2014 GOP primary Mike Hubbard defeated local Auburn businessman Fred “Sandy” Toomer. Mike Hubbard’s challenger in the November general election is Democrat Shirley Scott-Harris.

I guess the convicted felon can’t run in November election.

Hubbard is using the Rick Perry defense–“This is a political witch hunt.” I find this sort of hard to believe because GOPTP politicians control the state, unless Hubbard pissed off some of his own party members. I think he finally got caught using his office for personal gain, something he thought his position as Speaker would prevent anyone from discovering. He’s the typical GOPTP politician, though, because he plans to forge ahead and pretend he’s done nothing wrong.

    This is for dear CarlaAkins,

Last week there was an article about “Conservative Christian Radio Host Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 3-Year-Old Boy” written by Anomaly100.

I just remembered there was this line at the end of article:
H/T: The incomparable @CarlaAkins with thanks.

I would like to give you credit for that, job well done.
