‘Bad Lip-Reading’ Version Of Gov Scott Walker’s Abortion Ad Is Absolutely Hilarious

Scott Walker claimed in a recent ad that his restrictive abortion policies were intended to protect women’s health. Women’s health advocates found the Wisconsin governor’s claim to be utter nonsense.

Walker’s words make as much sense as, “A brownie is a pretend house that I sniffed”  which is in the new lip reading version.

According to Madison.com, comedian and music teacher Brandon Jensen made a “bad lip-reading” version of the ad in which he recorded his own voice track featuring nonsense words that match up with the governor’s mouth movements.

Walker’s original statement,“There’s no doubt in my mind, the decision of whether or not to end a pregnancy is an agonizing one” is changed to, “There’s no doubt in my mind, if there’s a wonderland that I see someplace, that it’s Alice that’s in Wonderland.”

Jensen explained that he was inspired by other “bad lip-reading videos” on YouTube that put gibberish in the mouth of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.

While at the gym, Jensen first saw Walker’s original ad, called “Decision.”

“I was working out on an elliptical and I saw it on the big-screen TV,” Jensen said. “I couldn’t hear it, but I could tell the message was a little ambiguous. I figured I’d try making a video, since it was already kind of nonsensical.”

“I think those videos are really fun,” he said. “If people end up receiving it pretty well, I’d like to try it again.”

That said, watch:

Personally, I find this version to make more sense than Walker’s ad.

Love it – now if only someone could do that with one of Sarah Palin’s rants so it would actually make sense…..

    It is a vast improvement.
If I can get serious for a minit, look how easy it is to match up this with his facial gestures and you’ll realize how difficult speechreading actually is. So much for the myth that deaf people can easily “read lips”.

-and a whole new assortment for funny political campaign advertisements is born! Too bad if the GOP Congress opts to pass legislation requiring disclaimers be posted with the ads. AS creative as the party of INTELLIGENT comedians is, they could really do a rip on the GOP and Republican Teabaggers.
