Was anybody condemning the carbon footprint of Obama’s military operations in Iraq?

    • tracey marie September 22nd, 2014 at 14:42

politico and brietbart are that way———->

Red eye robot is really just a red-eyed troll.

        • tracey marie September 22nd, 2014 at 20:42

I realized that last week, that is why I poke it

            Down-voting them hastens their departure.

but they are so much fun to watch flail around. Besides, how else will you know what the brietbart/politico sites are saying…this is rwnj glod

              • M D Reese September 22nd, 2014 at 21:58

I realize that it’s a typo, but I got a kick out of rwnj “glod”. And you’re right. They are a hoot–especially when they think that they are really really smart. If they get tedious and boring–or really rude–I will flag them though.

I sure hope that you’re charged by a solar panel if you’re wasting energy making comments like that.

    • William September 22nd, 2014 at 18:31

That’s it? That’s your response to this overwhelming support of the ideals of cleaner air, less dependency on fossil fuels and more energy efficiency? Really?

    • M D Reese September 22nd, 2014 at 20:38

Yes–and the carbon footprint of Bush before him, and the Bush before that.

Very nice, not like the 5 man militia on the border and the teabaggers protests that fox slop lies about. You know, using pictures of Liberal events and saying they are teabggs

    • M D Reese September 22nd, 2014 at 20:35

Didn’t you love the excuse for why the militia guys stayed home? They claim that the big bad cartels threatened them. (Aren’t the cartels part of the reason for them wanting to patrol the border?…) Anyway, I call BS.

      • Veri1138 September 22nd, 2014 at 23:16

They needed to go to work to support their families, or keep their gov’t bennies while unemployed.

        • M D Reese September 23rd, 2014 at 15:05

(more likely they stayed home to drink beer and watch it on TV from their bark-a-loungers…or they are just plain chickenshit)

Wow Rockefeller charity has divested themselves from fossil fuels.

    • mea_mark September 22nd, 2014 at 17:41

It’s not just the Rockefeller charity, they are just leading the way. Other groups are getting on board and they are telling fund managers they want investment funds without dirty oil/carbon in the portfolio or they are out. Taking away the money is what will do the most good.

      • edmeyer_able September 22nd, 2014 at 17:55

I understand that they’ll be re-investing those funds in green energy as well.

        • mea_mark September 22nd, 2014 at 18:19

It has been working for my dad. Some of the companies where he has made the most since the crash has been the green companies outperforming expectations. He used to be a stock broker, and does his own homework and invests more in specific companies than funds.

I’ve never met your Dad… but I like him

All 400,000 traveled to NYC without the use of fossil fuels, right? And all the infrastructure and staffing needed for such an event…no carbon footprint, right? Right??

    • edmeyer_able September 22nd, 2014 at 17:28

So I take it you’re against any leisure travel, any burning of dirty coal, & against the XL pipeline?

    • Montag September 22nd, 2014 at 18:55

It hurts doesn’t it? 400,000 people who care enough to make their voices heard. Yet you sit and snipe with your silly immature comments. You’re on the losing side of this argument.

      • zmster September 23rd, 2014 at 00:04

What side is that, all-seeing one?lol. Did you see anything against care for the planet? I’m simply saying, I respect those who walk the talk like, for instance an Ed Begely, Jr., as opposed to those whose publicity machine actually adds to the problem they decry.

    • raincheck September 23rd, 2014 at 06:50

Were you including all the fuel it took to fly the drone?
Just about everything we do adds to the carbon footprint.. if they all rode bicycles to the event.. then what about the carbon produced in making the bicycles etc.? You sound like one of those “If Al Gore really cared about the environment, he wouldn’t fly around the world in a jet” people. I suppose he could ride a horse cross country… There’s no way around contributing to the carbon footprint… But we can greatly reduce it, right? RIGHT?
