New York’s Cuomo Had Hoped To Have Autobiography Launch White House Run

Too many problems are getting in the way of Andrew Cuomo finishing his book as a prelude to a presidential run. Running a state gets in the way of writing a book. And Hillary Clinton gets in the way of any other Democrat who might want the job.

The HarperCollins book’s original ghostwriter and editor were replaced after several months of work. It’s now likely that Hachette’s unauthorized “The Son Also Rises: A First Biography of Andrew Cuomo,” by Vanity Fair writer Michael Schnayerson, will be published first.

One of Cuomo’s bigger problems is dealing with US Attorney Preet Bharara’s investigation into why Cuomoshut down his anti-corruption Moreland Commissionbefore it had a chance to accomplish anything.

“Who’s going to want to read an inspirational book about how Cuomo got where he is when he is under investigation?” one editor wondered.

The title of Cuomo’s memoir, “All Things Possible: Setbacks and Success in Politics and Life,” has been tweaked to reflect the Moreland issue. “What politician has ever led with ‘setbacks’?” the editor laughed.

If Andrew Cuomo is ever POTUS nominated, I’d have to seriously consider voting for the other side of the aisles Jon Huntsman.

If Andrew Cuomo is ever POTUS nominated I’d seriously consider voting for the Green Party nominee, without bothering to read Murdoch’s Saudi News Corps Hachette unauthorized “The Son Also Rises: A First Biography of Andrew Cuomo.”

Don’t bother finishing the book,, Cuomo. There is a lot of possible corruptions that needs to be investigated. We do want the book to be complete.

We Americans need to get with the idea of dragging people kicking and screaming into the White House. Even though Obama wanted to be President, his election did shake things up. For a couple of years things were great, health-care here at home and stopping the hemorrhaging of both blood and treasure in Iraq. But Obama is a consummate politician. After the House was lost to the Republicans he became more moderate, leading from the center, yet still hamstrung by the politics of “gridlock.”
Which makes these 2014 midterms so important; we could have, at least, 2 years of making real progress on domestic issues, justice, the economy and maybe put the breaks on some of the “stupid stuff”, or we could open a Pandora’s box and unleash the real “dogs of war.”
