Feds Find No Evidence Christie Knew Of Bridge Closures In Advance

Posted by | September 19, 2014 11:42 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

The Department of Justice has concluded a 9 month investigation stating that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie didn’t know in advance that lanes would be closed on the George Washington Bridge.

The probe to date has turned up no evidence Christie had any prior information or directed that lanes be closed for four days, federal sources told WNBC.

The closures caused a traffic nightmare in Fort Lee, N.J. — and thrust Christie and his administration into a political imbroglio that stained his presidential ambitions when a staffer and Port Authority official’s snarky emails delighting in the scheme emerged.

They found no evidence doesn’t mean he didn’t know. People talk and say things when they are not being recorded. I think he knew. Some people are just better at hiding things than others are.

Truly? With everything we’ve seen – this is disheartening.

So he had no idea his entire staff was working on closing down the busiest bridge in NYC? I thought he was a “hands on” leader? Sounds like he was simply a clueless bully to me.

When asked to comment about the finding, lead investigator Johnathon Ersatz declined, and then sped off in his new Ferrari. The other members of the investigative team have apparently moved and left no forwarding addresses.

Well, keep looking. It is there. After those who worked for him get long sentences. That evidence will surface. They are not going to take the full fall for him. While he prance around and try to be President. Because he is now going to make it to the White House. I hope, that he isn’t making a deal saying that he will release them; once he become President. Big CC, needs to do his time.

The NJ Federal prosecutor has not commented on the leaked portion of the report that makes Christie look uninvolved in the scandal. I’ll believe this when the full report has been released.

If ‘everyone in my admin knew but me’ then why is Christie refusing to produce documents to comply with subpoenas? The N.J. gubers abuse of powers delivered 8 credit downgrades, currently the worst American jobs record down from 47th, and he alienated his former supporters crashing to new lows. He wasn’t “Born to Run.” http://www.jtmp.org/tag/bruce_springsteen/

What teabagger traffic study closed 2 of 3 lanes on Earth’s busiest bridge, causing 2-3 hour traffic jams for 4 days?? If ‘everyone in my admin knew but me’ then why is Christie refusing to produce documents to comply with subpoenas? The N.J. gubers abuse of powers delivered 8 credit downgrades, currently the worst American jobs record down from 47th, and he alienated his former supporters crashing to new lows. Imploding N.J. proves he wasn’t “Born to Run” anything, according the Boss. http://www.jtmp.org/tag/bruce_springsteen/
