Florida Business Owner Forced To Remove Gadsden Flag
Keith Greenberg is being told by the city of Ocala that he can fly an American flag, but not the yellow Gadsden flag in front of his store.
Click here for reuse options!“This is a shock,” said Greenberg.. “Honestly, I feel like this is Russia. I’ve been around the world … this is what you expect in really closed countries where there is no freedom of expression. Not here — so it’s shocking.”
But, then, there are those little things called laws.
City ordinance section 110-131 specifically prohibits the yellow flag, but Greenberg still refuses to take it down…
Despite the response from the city and potential fines, Greenberg says he plans to fight the ordinance by appealing in front of city council at their next meeting.

There’s a christian business in Tarpon Springs that flies this same flag. I have no idea if it is restricted in any way, but I always felt it was anachronistic as it doesn’t reflect ANY existing body.
