Phil Robertson Echoes ISIS: ‘Convert Them Or Kill them’

I hope the irony wasn’t lost among the Duck Dynasty crowd when Phil Robertson gave his view of what we should do about ISIS.

Robertson made the remarks during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Tuesday evening as the two discussed ISIS’s brutal tactics, which includes delivering ultimatums to communities to convert to Islam or be killed.

“In this case, you either have to convert them, which I think would be next to impossible,” Robertson explained to Hannity. “I’m just saying convert them or kill them — one or the other.”

The reality TV star, a self-proclaimed evangelical Christian, said he would rather participate in a Bible study with ISIS members and “show them the errors of their ways.” However, Robertson added he would have no problem killing the militants if he was engaged in a gunfight with them.

Only faux “news” would book a redneck hunter to give commentary on his views of the world. Who gives a flock what this hairy beast “thinks”?

And Phil Robertson still wonders why The History Channel cancelled “Duck Dynasty.”

I’ve never seen the show but from what I’ve read about the actors and seen the odd clip of them, well, I still haven’t seen the show……..

And Phil Robertson still wonders why “Duck Dynasty’s” ratings continue to plunge. Ever since he launched into a rant against gays last year, the show has lost nearly 50 percent of its viewers.

The Holy Roman Empire used the ‘convert or die’ method to ‘christianize’ Europe during the Dark Ages.

As did Islam when it broke out of Arabia except they added a twist where “People of the Book” which were Christians, Jews and, I believe, Zoroastrians, could submit to being second class citizens and pay a tax.

I really don’t care what ANY so-called celebrity comments on. If I had to pick a so-celebrity to help me decide about my opinion about issues, I would already be lost.
