Armed Open Carry Dorks Confront Protesters Against Gun Violence; Doesn’t Go Down Well

Posted by | September 1, 2014 09:59 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

In Akron, Ohio on Sunday, protesters against gun violence  gathered, then armed counter-protesters confronted them – or as they would put it, to”‘educate” them. At least one of the female protester’s family members was a victim of domestic violence.

The armed Open Carry protesters were not well received.

I’m sure the woman who was a victim of domestic violence really needed to be schooled by Open Carry activists. This jaw dropping message is from a Confederate-loving, Open Carry dork, who called for “illegal immigrants’ to be gunned down at the border.

I sure hope he never “compliments” a woman.

Why do these armed men insist on going into areas where they are not wanted or needed? All we have to do for gun sense laws to be implemented is to sit back and continue to let them be their own worst enemies.

But, according to them it was a success!

They think they changed some minds, huh? I bet they also thought Romney would win in a landslide.

    • BriKuz September 1st, 2014 at 15:18

Actually, a good number of 2A (and 1A, and gay, etc) supporters thought Romney was just as bad a choice for Pres as Obama. As for changing some minds, my wife and I have managed to get about 20-30% of antis we talk to to end up getting their CHLs and carrying concealed. (Even more have at least taken a class on firearms to ensure that, even if they never OWN or CARRY, they at least will be able to handle a firearm safely should some odd need arise)

you lying piece of garbage, you are the enemy of the USA and one day your kind will be extinct, that day can’t come soon enough.

Is there any logic in you, or is your sole source of self-justification found in denigrating others with no rational basis in fact? Who, pray tell, will casue the extinction of “my kind,” whatever that means?

Typical– “Don’t confuse me with the fact, my mind is made up.” Has anybody ever seen a gun shoot someone by itself? The problem is the person holding the gun. Why is there no protest, riot, or looting when a black person kills a cop? Somehow that is conveniently ignored.
Does anyone remember 23 year old Detective Melvin Santiago? He was a Jersey
City police officer who was ambushed and shot to death just over a month ago, on
July 13th. Santiago was white. His killer, Lawrence Campbell, was black. Does
anyone recall Obama appearing before national television and calling for justice
for Officer Santiago’s family? Does anyone recall Eric Holder rushing to Jersey
City to see that justice was done?
    How about Officer Jeffrey
Westerfield. He was a Gary, Indiana police officer who was shot to death last
month on July 6th. Westerfield was white. His killer, Carl LeEllis Blount, Jr.
was black. Where was Obama? Where was Holder? Or Officer Perry Renn? He was an
Indianapolis, Indiana police officer who was shot to death last month on July
5th, the day before Officer Westerfield was killed. Officer Renn was white. His
killer, Major Davis, was black. I don’t recall any mention by Obama about the
untimely death of Officer Renn. And, I doubt that Eric Holder rushed to
Indianapolis to make sure justice was done. Or, maybe I just missed
    it.
Vermillion Parish Deputy Sheriff Allen Bares was gunned down by two
men just last June 23rd in Louisiana. Deputy Bares was white. His two killers,
Quintlan Richard and Baylon Taylor, were black. Was Obama outraged? Did Eric
Holder rush to Louisiana to make sure that the family of Deputy Bares found
justice? Detective Charles Dinwiddie of the Killeen (Texas) Police Department
was murdered by Marvin Lewis Guy, a black male. Officer Dinwiddie was white.
This happened on May 11th, just over two months ago. I don’t even recall seeing
anything about that on the news. Certainly, the white citizens in Killeen
didn’t take to the streets to loot and burn businesses. Again, I don’t recall
any mention by Obama or Holder.
Then, there is Officer Kevin Jordan of
the Griffin, Georgia Police Department. He was gunned down just two months ago
on May 31st. Officer Jordan was black. His killer, Michael Bowman, was white.
This was a white man murdering a black police officer. Where was Jesse Jackson?
Where was “The Reverend” Al Sharpton? Was there looting and burning on the
streets of Griffin, Georgia? No. In fact, I don’t recall hearing about this one
in the news, as well. Why? You can draw your own conclusions.
    Over the
past 90 days, there have been five reported deaths of police officers by gunshot
in the US. Of those, four were white officers who were murdered by black men.
Did I miss something? Oh, yes, now, I remember. Nothing done or said by our
    great leader, or his henchman, Holder. No rioting and looting in the streets;
no calling for justice for the officers who were murdered. That’s it. That’s
    the difference.

      “Did I miss something?”

Apparently you did. You missed the part where the murdered police officers were not unarmed citizens shot, killed, or otherwise abused by someone with legal authority in a town or towns with a pattern of such abuse.

You are absolutely right and as a racism-hating white centrist/moderate I declare it is proof of: l-the pusillanimity of leftist police-hating liberals, 2-the overt black racism that is the majority of racism in America today albeit amongst a minority of all American blacks; 3-the disgusting refusal of any prominent black leaders to denounce such black racism and such black racists as Al Sharpton who is a professional demagogue, hustler, and utter fraud–and is NOT a legally ordained minister.

      • CharlieAdamsInKY September 2nd, 2014 at 13:56

Your FIRST LIE was when you claimed yourself as a “racism-hating … centrist/moderate”. And it went downhill from there. TeaPubliKKKlanner LIAR, end of story.

          • CharlieAdamsInKY September 12th, 2014 at 10:35

You’re STILL a liar. If there had been any question about it, your attempt to fall back on the “calling me out on my racism is the REAL racism” argument clinched it. Eff you and all the rest of your TeaPubliKKKlanner cabal.

Good thing background checks are for the people holding the guns and not on the guns themselves.

    • greenfloyd September 1st, 2014 at 23:52

While I don’t abide by your inference regards Obama and Holder, you make the point, too many people are dying from gun violence. Nonetheless, according to the FBI, the number of police killed in 2013 (27) was 44% fewer than 2012 (49). On the other hand it’s estimated about 400 people a year are killed by police, although this number is hotly contested due to very strange and inconsistent reporting criteria across the country.

Why are pro 2nd A supporters always viewed as possibly being violent? In order to be a legal gun owner you have to be law abiding. I know I can safely say that pro 2nd A supporters are anti-violence in all forms and not just anti-gun violence. Our focus as a country should be against the criminal.

They are not seen that way my friend, that is why the left wing bigots have to do their best to portray them that way. It’s not easy for them to strip people of their rights unless they first demonize.

When a Muslim commits an act of terrorism we are automatically told you cannot blame all Muslims for the acts of a few.
When a black thug rapes and murders someone we are automatically told you cannot blame all Blacks for the acts of A few.
So why is it okay to blame all 100 million gunowners for the acts of a few,?

Liberalnd says it all. LOL!!! The dorks are the writers and they are clueless. These people obviously do need to be educated. Areas where people carry are far safer than where they do not, that is a statistical fact. Plano Texas for example, is arguably the safest place on Earth. Places with heavy gun control are the worst for violent crime. You have the right to feel how you want. You have the right to not like it when others carry guns. You do not have the right to force your beliefs on others, ESPECIALLY when your beliefs are not founded in fact. The site not only perpetuates bigotry, but openly endorses racism. If I didn’t know better I would have sworn this was right wing satire. The best thing is that crazy is a good form of birth control. People who buy into this must login during rec time at the state hospital.
