Man Attacks With Deadly Weapon Because He Was Bored
According to police, Shepherd began reflecting sunlight into his neighbor’s home because he was bored watching television. After the neighbor came outside and began yelling, Shepherd returned to his home to retrieve a metal tool resembling an ice pick. Then, he chased his neighbor, telling him that he was going to stab him.
Some jail time ought to relieve his boredom.

How do y’all plead on attempted premeditated Murder? …was bored watching TV so he went out into the street and used a mirror to reflect sunlight into his neighbor’s home on East Main Street. The neighbor came outside asking him to stop, and the two men started yelling at each other, the arrest report states.
“Shepherd stated that he then went back to his house, got a tool — metal punch looking like an ice pick — and ran after (the victim) stating he was going to stab him,” the arresting officer said.-Shepherd is in jail on a $60,000 bond!

It would be hard to prove that it was premeditated. But there is proof of his attempt to stab the neighbor. Maybe, Mr Shepherd, needs to stay out of the sun.

Well, his behavior sound childish. Reflecting sun-light in neighbor’s home. But threatening to stab someone can have serous consequences. But I wouldn’t recommend community service, as part of his punishment.
