Watch: Police Threaten To Shoot, Mace, Arrest Reporters In Ferguson
Ferguson Police were caught on camera on Sunday night during a live stream threatening the cam operator with a gun. In addition, police threatened to mace Chris Hayes from MSNBC, because we all know how gangsta he is. There is no freedom of press in Ferguson. Police told Chris Hayes , “Media do not pass us, you’re getting maced next time you pass us.”
According to Gawker, at least two other journalists also claim they were arrested while following police orders.
Hours before the curfew was to begin, shortly 10:00 p.m. Sunday night, police launched tear gas at protesters and demanded that reporters turn their cameras off.
KARG has been live streaming the events unfolding in Ferguson, which allowed the public to see what’s really happening in the town that has been besieged by protesters after an unarmed black teenager was shot at least six times by a police officer last week.
A police officer saw Mustafa Hussein filming with his camera lights on. According to the police, the lights make it more difficult for them to see so they confronted him and pointed a gun at him.

“Get down, get the fuck out of here and get that light off, or you’re getting shot with this,” the officer yelled at the camera operator.
At another point, a journalist was reportedly shot with a beanbag. Freedom of the press is supposed to be a thing. Instead, journalists are confined to a staging area.

Another journalist Neil Munshi of the Financial Times, tweeted that police ordered him to leave a parking lot being used as a staging area. When he complied, he was handcuffed and briefly held by Capt. Ron Johnson, according to Gawker.

I was speaking to a friend who lives in Britain about this. I asked what the Brits think about all of this. He said they’re so surprised that our police forces treat its citizens like terrorists.

This militarization of police departments has to stop. The feds should give them 90 days to turn in their military surplus machine guns. Not too many years ago “community policing” was the buzzword. Now we can’t distinguish local police from Army rangers and American citizens are being treated like terrorists in our own home towns.

The BS in Ferguson is getting really deep. We might as well throw away the constitution and all rights and declare a state of Anarchy. When the Authorities are above the law and can gun people down and aren’t held accountable and can act in secret we don’t need them. This is cancer in America’s heart land. Immediate surgery is needed to remove it. Does anyone have the ability to do it, or are we going to let it spread and grow?

The police are and have been out of control across the country for quite sometime now. What’s happening in Ferguson is a larger scale as what has been happening to millions of others all the time. When was the last time an on duty police shooting has been investigated and found to be unjustified? To my knowledge, never and it is that fact we are seeing Holder and Obama being criticized even before there is an investigation. They do not want to know the truth, the truth could result in sweeping reformation of police tactics.
I remember a case not long ago where an old man and his wife were asleep in there home when the police busted in, when the guy reached for his revolver in the nightstand he was shot several times, after wards it was found the police had the right house number on the wrong street. Who was sent to prison for this I wonder? The people of Ferguson need to stay in the streets, and the protest needs to grow across the country.
