#OpFerguson: Wrong Name Was Released Of Ferguson Cop Who Shot Mike Brown
Authorities in Missouri on Thursday denied the officer identified by a hacker activist was the responsible party for the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. Twitter user @TheAnonMessage released Officer Bryan Willman’s name and threatened to release additional information about the officer unless the Ferguson police department responded.
However, since then @TheAnonMessage’s account has been suspended. Media sources are reporting that the activist exposed the wrong name.
@OpFerguson has confirmed that.
But we confirm what CNN & the police have stated, the name released does not match the name that was leaked to us by a source. | #OpFerguson

But for the record, one last time. Operation Ferguson has NOT, repeat NOT released the name of Mike Brown’s killer. Nor have we claimed to.

O On another note, what happen in Ferguson does not stay in Ferguson:

It’s amazing how much equipment small Police Departments have… All over the Country. In cases where the smaller departments couldn’t afford the armored vehicles etc., Homeland Security paid for them.. instant Army. Claire McCaskill said after 911 all of the police departments were equipped with this stuff.. (to fight terrorism?) but perhaps it should be scaled back.

It’s interesting to see which states are seeking it as well.
