Tea Party Congressman Accidentally Tweets His Love For ‘Shagging’
Rep. Stephen Fincher’s Twitter account declared the Tennessee Republican’s love of “shagging.” Shagging in Britain, means having sex.
According to The Hill, a spokeswoman for the congressman’s office says the since-deleted tweet “had nothing to do” with Fincher — nor was it in reference to the British slang term for sex.
So does this mean Fincher does not love having sexy time?
The original tweet which was sent out to Fincher’s 6,700 followers read: “God I love this song. And beach music. AND shagging. #pandora,” and contained a link to a music page for the song “I Love Beach Music” by The Embers.
The deleted Tweet:
According to Fincher communications director Elizabeth Lauten, the staffer’s Pandora account was somehow connected to the lawmaker’s Twitter account through a third-party application. “It had nothing to do with him at all,” Lauten said.
She went on to explain that the term “shagging,” is a word used to describe a Southern dance done at the beach.
Last year, Fincher quoted the Bible in a bid to cut food stamps. He didn’t walk that one back, though.

So the takeaway here is that Fincher doesn’t like sex.
One wonders if:
1) there is a Mrs. Fincher,
2) is she attractive,
3) can I get an introduction?
Where I’m from, “shagging” is how we dance to beach music. I never heard the other term until that movie came out with whats-his-name.
