Republican Gov: Voters So Mad At Obama They ‘Want Somebody To Throw A Brick’

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback threw out some red meat to his Republican-base while blaming President Obama for voters backing his challenger, Jennifer Winn.

“I think a big part of it is Barack Obama,” Brownback told KSHB. “That a lot of people are so irritated at what the president is doing, they just, they want somebody to throw a brick.”
Brownback does not believe there is a problem with a “right vs. right” scenario at all, but rather an electorate desperate to express their Obama-focused anger at just about anyone, including himself.

Brownback won the primary on Tuesday with 63.3 percent of the vote while Winn got 36.7 percent, which is a surprisingly low margin of victory for the tea party-favored Brownback given that it’s the Republican primary in deep red Kansas, TPM reports.

“I think it’s a lot of deep irritation with the way the president has taken the country. So much so that people are so angry about it they’re just trying to express it somehow,” Brownback remarked.

This from a guy that’s bankrupting his state. Proving yet again that trickle down economics doesn’t work.
