Mike Huckabee Says Obama ‘Worthy’ Of Impeachment
Huckabee, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, told Iowa conservative radio host Steve Deace that Obama “absolutely” deserves to be impeached.
He added, though, that the GOP can’t push to remove the president right now because they don’t have the votes in the Senate.“From a governmental standpoint you’re not going to see it accomplished with this Senate,” Huckabee said Monday. “But I think it’s an important argument to make that there are a number of things this president has done in the overuse of the executive power, his complete ignoring of the law, even his own law.”
Once again, it’s Republicans talking impeachment, although the right would like you to believe the left is promoting it. What the left is doing is using views like these to raise money, which is exactly what they should be doing.

Alan is right, as the MSM seems to focus on the times the term “Impeachment” is mentioned as opposed to those who suggest using it. And this is all because the GOP claims Obama is using executive actions over and above his authority without congressional approval. Hell if they were there to do their jobs we may get a few of those approvals (or not). Obama is working within the legal realms of what the Constitution allows.
One thing that never gets mentioned is that president Bush used his executive power more than double to what Obama has, executed an illegal war based on lies, tortured people, etc, yet not one democrat called for impeachment.
It’s simply about hating the black man, seriously, what else could it be? If Obama were a white GOP president, with the improving economy we have, health insurance reform, a war ended and another going to end, he’d be called one of the best presidents ever.

It’s not quite right that no Democrat talked about impeaching B*sh: Dennis Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment, in 2007 I believe.
Dubya was certainly “worthy” of impeachment, but most Democrats were gunshy about it. I think they didn’t want to create a circus that they couldn’t win, they were more interested in governing. They knew that they couldn’t get two-thirds of the Senate to convict, so they didn’t bother. They used other political means.
The Republicans are (again) shooting themselves in the foot. If they pursue impeachment of President Obama without any just cause whatsoever, it will embolden future Democrats to do the same the next time a Republican is in the Oval Office. Which may never happen again, by the looks of it.
