Unhinged Woman Gets On TV, Says To Impeach Obama And Send His ‘Predecessors’ A Message

Posted by | August 3, 2014 19:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

Some sucker at Wonkette donated enough delicious dollars for another sucker at the popular site to keep track of performance artist Sarah Palin’s new grifty subscription-based show. Besides all of the other word salad the former half-term Governor of Alaska offered her viewers, her crazy-talk about impeachment was akin to a drunk at a bar feigning to be a physicist, but everyone knows  he’s just the infamous bully who lives on the corner and tortures flies by pulling their wings off.

Here’s our Sarah explaining that impeachment would really show Obama’s predecessors a thing or two:

“When we get to send a message to Obama — and you know my position on how do we send the message, we begin the process of impeachment — once that message is sent, then that is a clear message to be received by his predecessors, so that any future President will know we’re not going to put up with it, we the people are not going to put up with imperial presidencies.”

That’s right, Sarah wants to send George W. Bush a message by impeaching Obama.

Then Sarah got super-mad because former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura won a $1.8 million judgment in his defamation lawsuit against the estate of deceased Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.

Sarah said:

“I’m not gonna make it personal, but a lot of us go through a lot of things about what people say about us, and we don’t go runnin’ to the lawyers and the courthouse, whinin’ and cryin’ that our reputation was hurt.”

You’re damn skippy she doesn’t. She’s a patriot and stuff.

Yr Wonkette would like to remind the former Governor of a letter drafted by her family’s lawyer three years ago, in which Palin threatened to sue a division of Random House “for knowingly publishing false statements” in a book by her one-time neighbor Joe McGinnis.

Well that’s different. Somehow.

Let’s see now, how many Presidents have we had? Oh, I know, it’s 44, well 43, but that’s another posting. So, Sarah the Tea Party Pin Up Girl and current Wasilla bar fly, wants threaten all of them with impeachment? Why don’t her glasses work as well as Rick Perry’s?

Thank you for standing up to the onslaught! The people who count Grover Cleveland twice as POTUS are an abomination and should be wiped from the earth!

      • tiredoftea August 3rd, 2014 at 19:18

IKR?! It just irks me that so few people know this!

        • Eric Trommater August 3rd, 2014 at 19:21

Whenever I hear the number 44 when it comes to POTUSes I always ask the same question, did one have a clone?

She and Todd’s GOP led convictions on all counts of abusing halfterm’s Guber powers, are the best thing about the truckstop dancer formerly referred to as Candy Brain.

I no longer blame McCain for this windbag. John Kerry pushed John Edwards on us in a similarly stupid piece of real politiks but the media stopped covering the liberal idiot once it was known he was actually an idiot. Not so Palin. In fact the dumber she sounds the more interested people are in what she has to say. There is no benifit in this new media era in making reasonable or thoughtful comments about anything unless it can be put on a bumper sticker or typed out in 140 charactars with no further thought required. Palin is very good at that and so I blame the American people. . . .and Obama of course, because everything is his fault.

Edwards needed to keep his zipper up, but that’s it. He raised some serious questions about inequity in the U. S.; and that’s why he had to go.

      • Eric Trommater August 3rd, 2014 at 22:11

John Edwards was a personal injury lawyer who Peter Principled himself into the Senate and was notorious for his lack of knowledge about almost any issue. Read the reports of the people who knew him best. “This guy never reads anything. He knows nothing. He gets all his information from aides. He can’t be trusted to go off script because he’s uncomfortable with any subject more complex than his haircut.”
Remember the idiot Cheney made of him in the debate? Why do you think it was that he couldn’t answer even basic questions until an hour after the debate (and his aides had briefed him). Fair is fair he was totally unqualified for the job of VP. We used to call him the Dan Quayle of the Democratic party. It was totally irresponisble of Kerry to put him on the ticket and it scares me how close he came to being a heartbeat away from the President.

Compare that to the independent reaction to Sarah Palin in the VP debate in 2008. Edwards and Palin are two peas in a pod. Both throw raw meat at their base while having no idea what they are talking about when pressed on details and both are supported by low information voters. Both also looked good on TV. In fact I rate Edwards a bit lower than Palin because she at least was able to fool a few people whose opinion I respect where Edwards was so tranparent that no one I had any respect for ever gave him any credit as being more than a hair cut who repeated the words fed to him in a southern accent over and over again. Why are we defending this guy? He has done us no good and only given aid and comfort to our opponents. He wasn’t ‘brought down,’ he was hyped up beyond his means to deliver and brought nothing but shame to his supporters.

    • His Shadow August 3rd, 2014 at 22:57

The problem is the average citizen moved by scoundrel patriotism that Palin espouses is as dumb or dumber than she is. Couple this with a major streak of anti-intellectualism and you end up with a support no matter what she says because they take criticism of Palin as a sign that she has “struck a chord” or “hit close to home”.

Modern political discourse in the US is nothing more than a public comment forum where any reaction is a “hit”. Trolls control the topic. Reasoned debate gets nothing more than “you mad bro?” in response. People can state as fact the most egregiously stupid tripe and as long as it contains the right dog whistles it elicits support as automatic a line of seals clapping for fish.

Can someone, anyone, please explain to me why, just f##king why, we should pay even the slightest bit of attention to this washed up, absolutely ignorant, language-challenged, wingnut looser?

    • tiredoftea August 3rd, 2014 at 19:41

we get to see palin sh*t faced in Colorado and nobody knows if she was smoking weed or drinking too much booze ?
      the wacky tour continues ….

    • NW10 August 3rd, 2014 at 20:33

Comedic value. She’s better than having President Bush in office because at least she isn’t directly responsible for policy affecting the country.

      • fahvel August 4th, 2014 at 04:10

she is not funny – not by any stretch of the imagination. Using herto make the left feel good is ingenuous when the nut jobs on the right – those that actually affect something – are doing quite well on their own – This mean meaningless thing should be ignored. By posting her crap, she is encouraged to continue in her fogged up mini universe of nothing.

It’s no wonder that she went to a gazillion different colleges (if that’s what they were). I have to wonder, how many elementary and high schools did she attend where they actually just decided to graduate her out of pity.

    SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
can’t impeach because He’s from Hawaii, Sara.
    or for being smarter than you.can’t impeach Him for being POTUS;
that’s His sworn DUTY to do.
just because He flies around the world in a PALACE plane while it’s increasingly more difficult for you to squeeze your expanding baggage into a rented Cessna isn’t impeachment worthy either.
A popularly ELECTED POTUS could even wear a robe, crown and sign bills with an Ostrich feather pen and it still doesn’t warrant impeachment.
Now, if you could somehow prove that He gained power through say altered documentation, or with holding back protective cover of a US Diplomat, or even a misdemeanor like endangering lives by speeding in the Tundra, then you might have a shot. (which reminds me, you are Constitutionally unworthy to ever be POTUS).
Pulling the US Economy back up by the boot straps without the Approval of the Republican Congress? – possibly – but thay might tend to really PO American voters.
Cutting in line at a Texas BBQ? – well, for those of US who have stood in line when dining out, perhaps, but then again, it’s up to the people.

so palin wants to send a message to the man who was president before him, which is bush, that if he does anything wrong, palin wants him impeached. except, bush (thank god!), can’t run again. the woman is a moron! the only way I would pay to see her new show would be if she were being tortured!
