Images Of The Day: Anti-War Protesters Flood The Streets In Israel

The Jewish and Palestinian people have been holding anti-war protests throughout Israel, which sadly seems to have gone unreported in the media. Thousands poured into the streets, with but a scant few, relatively speaking, pro-war protesters making an appearance.

Behold:

Perhaps if Hamas and Netanyahu didn’t dictate the messaging, the protesters would have a louder voice in the media.

In New York City.

Meanwhile the Jewish Defence League, a far right militant organization, chanted “death to Arabs”, as well as “Muhammad is dead” and “we’ll burn down your villages” but the anti-war demonstrators, replied with “Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies”. Israeli Anti-Fascist activists were there to tangle with the JDL and take back the streets of Israel from the right-wing faction of war-hawks, according to Counter Current News.

The anti-war protesters consisted largely of Jewish people. Police officers blocked off protesters who tried to attack the left-wing demonstrators and arrested eight on violence charges and for disrupting the peace, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Netanyahu and Hamas could not be reached for comment.

This is not news. The media fails (by design) to report a great deal of the “real” news out there. This leaves the population to either “dig” for the truth or believe everything they hear on the main stream boob tube….

What should be news, is that the leaders are doing what the people don’t want them to do, despite the protests.

I couldn’t have said it any clearer than you did..

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” — Matthew 5:9

The awful truth seems to be Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Libya are all coming apart at the seams. Borders are bing redrawn, new powers emgerging. And, they all hate Israel, and America.

When England redrew the maps of the Middle East dictating the borders of countries they established deep seated animosities and hatred between the peoples. Add in their decision to allow a jewish state in the middle of millions of Arabs and Muslims and you understand the hatred these groups have for the west.
