Tea Party Political Group Drops ‘Tea Party’ From Its Name
A Tea Party group in Philadelphia is changing its name to change its political message. You see, to them it’s just the name, not the acidic tone of the Tea Party. It’s the words “Tea Party.”
The super-smart Independence Hall Tea Party Association has changed its name to the Independence Hall Foundation.
I can’t imagine why they do not want the toxic Tea Party name anymore.
“We want to make it a broader focus,” President Teri Adams said. “We want to get into some other issues that we weren’t really able to get into under the Tea Party banner. At least we felt that way.”
According to CBS Philly, Adams makes it clear her organization is a movement, not a just political party. But I thought the Tea Party said they aren’t a party. This is terribly confusing.
“And the people in our group always thought that, just like the original movement, it would not be something that was permanent,” she said, as if anyone would believe her.
She added that this name change only affects this one local Philadelphia group of several thousand members.
“Other Tea Party groups may feel differently. They may continue on (with the Tea Party name), but we felt that it was time to make this change,’ she said.
Republicans gave birth to the Tea Party and now they’re trying to rid themselves of the monster they created.

What are the ideals of the Tea party? Cut the deficit, obama has. Improve the economy , Obama has, Create jobs , Obama has, reduce spending , Obama has.

Reduce taxes. Obama hasn’t. And why does the market continue to go up despite statements from the Fed? Because the Fed continues to print money to depress interest rates. We’re looking at the next bubble.

TEA Party died in Wisconsin -People found it the hard way. In 2010 TP was a favorite talk in homes. My friends were mocking me as lost voting for President Obama. Then they elected Walker as governor. Two weeks later the same friends came crying “We should have listened to you. We elected a monster – Walker is a Killer.” Walker had removed their free health benefits, Unions rights and right to sue employers if bullied. TPs in

You would think they would have some honesty and decency and call their party what it really is. The right-wing Christofascist party who’s main goal is to destroy America and turn our country in to a Christofascist theocracy. No, that is not hyberbole as we can plainly see they are beginning to implement it with the Hobby Lobby case of which there will be many more such cases to come.
