Now Even The GOP Are Calling Tea Partiers Racists!

Posted by | July 19, 2014 14:30 | Filed under: Mark Quincy Adams Opinion Politics Top Stories

Tea Partiers don’t like being called racists but they do love voting for the GOP.  A revelation by Erik Erikson at RedState.com that it was Senate Republicans who attacked Mississippi candidate Chris McDaniel by deeming him to be a racist last month could change all that. Will there be a split on the Right with the Tea Party running off to where nobody calls them names?  Or will it all be swept under the rug of the big tent in the spirit of Obama hating for a bigger cause?  Stay tuned!

I can confirm that the attack ads in Mississippi run by All Citizens for Mississippi were funded by Senate Republicans, including Senators Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Rob Portman, Bob Corker and Roy Blunt. The advertisements attacked Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel and painted conservative Republicans and tea party activists as racists. According to documents filed with the Federal Elections Commission, All Citizens for Mississippi received funding from a Haley Barbour backed group called “Mississippi Conservatives”.

When r’s start voting for Veterans, SNAP benefits, raising taxes on the top 5% and cutting meaningful defense spending, raising the minimum wage and marriage equality then I’ll believe they’re the same as D’s.

This time I decided to help you so I went to one website and cut and pasted a few ridiculous comments. They call our President Obozo, call him usurper CONSTANTLY, and yet have no factual reasons why they disagree with what Obama has done. It is the same shit over and over and over and over and over and over Obozo, usurper, King, dictator…..it is like kindergarten, I know you are but what am I? If you see a cognitive argument in any of these posts, please clarify for me.

And your dumb and dumber comment is meant for yourself right? Sarah Palin is not the bimbo that your liberal creeps set about to make her! Sarah Palin was raised in a good Christian Home in Alaska, a star athlete awarded who excelled in college in sports..She married a top notch guy who has won the toughest Dog Sled Race in the world! It is called the Iddiderad and is a 1200 mile trek with the driver and his dogs….Sarah’s husband won it twice…They have several children and the oldest son is a career military man serving his country…Sarah Palin was elected Mayor and then Governor but once on the national scene her enemies were legion…Obama the pot smoking high school doper wrote in his own book about not remembering high school cause he was high all the time..This spoiled rich brat whose white grandparents were extremely wealthy and sat on Hawaiian bank board…leaving lazy grand sonny millions of dollars and real estate where he can live in luxury..He never held a job in his life except when Weatherman Terrorist Bill Ayers spoiled rich brat from Chicago like Obama, grabbed Obama and created his little Frankenstein Obama and Ayers wife, Bernadine Dohrn, terrorist bomber latched on to Michael Obama and hosted fund raiser in their elite Chicago homes. Obama’s resume for work would be a short termed Fund Raiser for the Marxist Chicago(now defunct due to corruption) ACORN Group who helped launch this freak from no where into Illinois Senate and God help us the Presidency…done only as the Chicago machine can do it..I will say once horrible Character Assassination has been performed on a political Candidate, the masses of sheep called voters prefer believing bad stuff and voting for the wrong candidate and then suffering the consequences…I hope Sarah Palin doesn’t run anymore…She can serve better on the side lines and telling it like it is!

Thinking that you will fail while doing the right thing does not mean that you should not do the right thing. Of course, the House should impeach the usurper Obozo, even though we know that the Senate will block it. Regardless, it is the right and just thing to do. I’ve even heard the defense that if he’s not legally elected, he can’t be impeached. I think the record is pretty clear, from his admission to Columbia University as a Foreign Student, to his diligent covering up of every public record of his previous life. He IS a usurper, and doubtless much

Most racists would deny being racist because many do not even realize they are. Alan Colmes is so adept at political correctness any racist views are not likely to be made public.
Many of the democratic welfare programs that shackle Blacks to to the government are racist.
They are yelling for a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, but the only path to prosperity it proposes for Blacks is increasing the minimum wage for their minimum wage jobs. That’s racist.

why do you presume that only blacks are working for minimum wage?

why do you presume that the 90% support among blacks at the ballot box for the Democratic party is because of welfare?

it is positions on a number of issues which “shackle” black folks to the Democratic party. to imply that it is because of welfare is precisely the kind of ignorance that makes us want nothing to do with the GOP.

the very first sentence in your post, fits you to a tee.

      • Pundit456 July 20th, 2014 at 17:34

Barack Obama said that he was not a “Black Presidential candidate” but rather a Presidential candidate who happened to be Black.
Similarly Blacks must perceive themselves as Americans, with an equal stake in the success or failure of the country, who happen to be Black rather than Black Americans; qualified Americans requiring special accommodations.
Nothing Democrats have proposed is even remotely intended to facilitate assimilation; which is the only way true equality can be realized. When Blacks appreciate that Black History is inexorably American History and that even voluntary separatism is racist and futile; and that not all democrats are their friends nor are all republicans their enemies, the question of racist motives will become archaic and racist characterizations will become ineffective. .

        • arc99 July 20th, 2014 at 18:01

First of all, no one is asking for “special accommodations”. The demand to be treated equally which was the foundation of Brown v Board of Education was not a demand for anything other than equality.

The implication that blacks in general do not perceive themselves as Americans with an equal stake in the success or failure of this country is absolute nonsense. Certainly you have extremist blacks who are the equivalent of America-haters like Cliven Bundy, or the founder of the Alaska Independent Party. Those views are a fringe minority.

Black history is in fact American history. Unfortunately it was not taught in our schools until Black History month became a reality. We were taught all about Eli Whitney, Alexander Graham Bell, and Daniel Boone. We heard not a word about Benjamin Banneker or Dr. Charles Drew. The only voluntary separatism imposed on history curricula, was the separatism of textbooks written by whites for whom the significant accomplishments of black Americans did not exist.

I would suggest you present those five names to anyone of any race and ask them to identify the signature accomplishment of each man. I would wager than most will know Whitney, Bell, and Boone, while few will recognize Banneker, the surveyor who mapped out much of the nation’s capital, or Drew whose work led to the perfection of blood transfusion techniques.

Equality under the law facilitates assimilation. Access to the ballot box facilitates assimilation. I do not see any Democrats advocating laws making it more difficult to vote or celebrating the Supreme Court decision striking down laws that were passed by Congress under the explicit authority granted in section 2 of the 15th amendment.

Your opinions about the Democratic party are not shared by the overwhelming majority of black citizens. We do not need anyone to tell us which of the two parties is better suited to further the goals of political and economic equality. We can make that determination just fine on our own, thank you.

Black history requires context to be relevant because it is inextricably linked to White history.
Hearing Black History alone is line listening to the 1812 Overture played only by the cymbals.
The term Black History suggests inferiority and limited relevance.
Martin Luther King, Jr suggested that it would be more beneficial to judge a person by the content of their character; which by implication excludes party affiliation as a valid means of assessing a person.
Judging a person based on party affiliation alone is no different than judging a person based on color alone; and is equally bigoted..

        • arc99 July 20th, 2014 at 18:21

I would suggest that enlistment figures in the US military are one measurement to determine the extent to which blacks perceive themselves as Americans, with an equal stake in the success or failure of the country.

Our armed forces are 17.8% black according to this survey

Our armed forces are 74.6% white according to this survey

According to the latest census, blacks are 13.2% of the population as a whole. Whites are 77.7% of the population as a whole. In other words, the black population in the military exceeds the percentage in the general population, where as the white population does not.

So what information are you looking at to infer that blacks do not perceive themselves as Americans?

So what information are you looking at to infer that blacks do not perceive themselves as Americans?

More whites on welfare than blacks……the red states suck far far more out of government than blue states…….increasing the minimum to simply keep up with inflation makes sense

Notwithstanding, the programs are not intended to bridge anyone from welfare to the workforce; and “…..increasing the minimum to simply keep up with inflation…” is tantamount to stagnation.
