According to South Carolina police, a loaded handgun was found inside a York County Walmart. A customer noticed the gun in the men’s bathroom sitting atop a toilet paper dispenser at the Walmart store located on East Liberty Street in York, authorities said.

The police were called to the store at about 3:00 p.m. when an assistant manager reported that a customer told him a gun was in the men’s restroom near the back of the store, according to the police report. The manager locked the bathroom door, then called the police.

When the police went inside the bathroom and walked to the last stall, they found a gray Smith & Wesson revolver on the toilet paper dispenser, the report states.

According to The State, an officer found five live .38 caliber rounds inside the gun. Officers checked the gun’s serial numbers and realized it was not stolen.

Some time after that, a man called the police about the gun, according to the report. He went on to describe the gun to officers and explained that he left it in the bathroom.

Police told the man to report to the police department on Monday to pick up his firearm.

There were no details offered as to whether the man has a concealed carry permit and at this point no charges have been filed.

In June, a gun was found in the toy aisle of a Target store in South Carolina.  The gun was in plain sight on top of a superhero Playskool toy box when a worker found it, thinking it was a toy.  He realized it was real after seeing it was loaded with live ammo.

What’s the definition of “well regulated” and “responsible” again?

      Truncated manhood with anger issues?

Obama false flag to take all guns. Oh and death panel/Benghazi/IRS or something.

Couldn’t possibly be a “responsible” gun owner could it?

Hope the police fired off a shot in the ballistics chamber, just to have handy in case anyone the owner knows turns up dead.

Would be easy. It will be one of his kids, playing when it “accidentally” goes off.

I suppose we are lucky he didn’t leave a full swimming pool, imagine the carnage then.

I have to admit that I think this guy was more concerned about personal hygiene than putting his gun back into his waistband. I’m sure he thoroughly washed his hands after he left the stall.
