Keyes: Impeaching Obama Would Be A ‘Prayer’ To God So America Could Be Blessed Again

Posted by | July 12, 2014 12:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

Alan Keyes knows what God wants America to do. Now that I wrote that, I wonder if that would have been a better title for this post. However, the current title says it pretty well. The problem is trying to pack the craziness of Alan Keyes into a neat little package because his words go on and on, and I can’t wrap my head around them without it exploding.

I urge you to visit the Pledge to Impeach website. I urge you conscientiously to ponder the cogent facts and reasoning you will find there. I urge you to commit yourself to the Pledge to impeach mobilization effort. I urge you thereafter to encourage all the like-minded people you know and can influence to do the same.

Do this as an act of good faith, predicated upon the principles of America’s independence as a nation. Do this as a prayer to the Creator God whose authority over justice those principles acknowledge. Do this so that once again our nation may deserve to enjoy the blessings of that God-endowed liberty which has been, and by our faithfulness may yet continue to be, our common hope; our common life; our common good.

Somewhere in the Bible it says things about not speaking on behalf of God.

I wish it said something about seeking help when they hear voices in their heads.

The Bible did, it said to throw your last Presidential candidate into the burning bush.

I didn’t get it at all–but then whenever I think of GW Bush I just start to gag. He’s just not really funny yet.

Mostly, his urge is to be out of the trunk and driving the crazy car.

*Yawn*, another day and another idiot who believes the creator of the entire universe is somehow deeply involved with the politics of a country on one planet.

These baggers remind me of that band Vitamin C in the early 80s.

    “I know what God likes
    I know what God wants
    I know what God likes
    I’ve got what God wants
    God likes……God likes….God likes”

So is he saying that God withdrawing his blessing is grounds for impeachment? The Constitution says nothing about God, so that wouldn’t be valid grounds for impeachment. Wingnuts need to be explicit about the grounds for impeachment – all they do is make vague statements, which indicates to me that they have no idea what they are talking about.

    • M D Reese July 12th, 2014 at 13:58

They’ve read neither the bible nor the Constitution.

“They’ve read neither the bible nor the Constitution”
        but….
That doesn’t stop them from trying to mix the two.

The only POTUS who should be impeached is the guy who was POTUS before Obama.

What really scares me is that these people really really do believe that the United States of America is a christian theocracy.

    • Dwendt44 July 12th, 2014 at 20:15

That and those that know better but try and make the U.S. a theocracy anyway.

      • M D Reese July 12th, 2014 at 23:08

I think it’s time to stop molly-coddling them and make them to prove the existence of gods, or just keep it to themselves.

Keyes has never gotten over losing the 2004 U.S. Senate race to Obama by such a large margin. 70% of voters in IL voted for Barack Obama while Keyes picked up only 27% of the vote. He so reminds me of Sarah Palin because they’re both sore losers who cannot accept the fact that they were rejected by a majority of the voters. They still seem to think that if only people understood their brand of “conservatism” a little better, Palin would be VP and Keyes would be the U.S. Senator from IL. Delusion runs deep in these two.

Whenever I see pictures of Alan Keyes, I’m reminded of MST3K’s Mike Nelson’s comment about actor John Agar:

“Never let the smile reach the eyes.”

Is this the same God who arranged for Obama to be elected………..twice?

    • Republicans_are_Evil July 12th, 2014 at 21:39

The Republican Party chose a path of evil. Can you just imagine what other horrors God might have in store for them if they don’t stop their tirade of sin?

      • mmaynard119 July 12th, 2014 at 21:52

Rick Perry as their 2016 Presidential candidate by default, since the others are either in jail or under indictment?
