Israeli Cabinet Member: ‘I’ve Killed Lots Of Arabs In My Life And There’s No Problem With That’

A far right-wing member of Israel’s cabinet just want to kill without due process. Naftali Bennett objects to Israel’s release of 104 Palestinians, believing they should just have been shot according to 972 Magazine.

On Sunday, Israel announced it would release 104 Palestinian prisoners, a key caveat in the John Kerry-brokered plan to renew peace talks.

But according to the 972 report, Israel’s minister of Industry, Trade and Labor and Jewish Home Party leader Naftali Bennett could not have disagreed more, proposing during Sunday’s cabinet meeting a swifter, but illegal way to deal with prisoners.

“If you catch terrorists, you have to simply kill them,” Bennett allegedly said, according to a report in the Hebrew-language print edition of Yedioth Ahronoth.

Israeli National Security Adviser Ya’akov Amidror allegedly responded by saying that such a practice was illegal. Bennett then reportedly declared, “I’ve killed lots of Arabs in my life – and there’s no problem with that.”

What line did he cross? Which Alan are you referring to?

      • M D Reese July 11th, 2014 at 20:37

And why 3 weeks and how come “guest” gets to set the timeline?

        • neworleans878 July 11th, 2014 at 21:07

          3 weeks = 21 days.

          2 + 1 = 3

          2 X 1 X 3 = 6

Take that 6 and do it 3 times (representing the weeks)

          666!!!

He’s obviously telling us Alan’s the Anti Christ!

          • M D Reese July 12th, 2014 at 15:14

What an odd thing to say. It makes as much sense as establishing a Jewish state in that neck of the woods after WWII.

      • burqa July 11th, 2014 at 21:41

After international commitments to reestablish a homeland for the Jews in the land of their ancestors; and after the Holocaust when over 6 million of them were murdered, the world community again agreed with the establishment of that nation to give millions of Jewish refugees a place to go.

But then along comes M D Reese to question the “sense” of that.
This is one reason we have not had more progress. There are too many people who have yet to catch up to the rest of us and the rest of the world and we have to repeatedly go over old ground rather than use the same effort on present and future solutions.

the people living in isreal have nothing to do with the holocaust or heritage or anything else. I had two cousind back in the 50’s who galloped off to the new nation from brooklyn because they could – russians by the way.

          • M D Reese July 12th, 2014 at 15:12

Not to mention that there were 6 million other people sent to the camps and/or slaughtered right alongside the Jews.

          • burqa July 13th, 2014 at 19:04

There are still people alive today who survived the concentration camps of Nazi Germany.
That Jews should be able to reestablish their country was recognized and agreed upon long before the Holocaust.

Bull puckey and get over it. I’m a member of two of the other groups that they also sent to the camps and burnt in the ovens. There were 6 million of us as well as 6 million Jews. Neither of those groups have yet to have a nation carved out for them. In fact, I’m still a second and third class citizen in my OWN country–land of the free home of the brave.

          • burqa July 13th, 2014 at 19:15

I accurately gave the reasons Israel was reestablished following World War II.
While I am aware that the Nazis had other victims besides Jews, I am not aware of any single group of these victims that amounted to 6 million.
Since the Nazis targeted a number of groups, I am unaware of the two you refer to. Do either have a historic homeland where they once had a nation; and do either have a long history of a movement to reestablish that country?

Denial of the right of Jews to a homeland is a major stumbling block to peace in the Middle East and has been a major factor in the needless death and destruction we have seen since the state of Israel was reestablished.
It would be helpful if you were to recognize their right to a homeland and that bigotry directed against a group you are not a member of is as bad as bigotry directed against a group to whom you belong.
This is why so many Jews supported the civil rights movement in the U.S.

            • Will Johnston November 11th, 2014 at 23:49

no one has the moral right to a homeland when it comes at the expense of someone else’s home.

            • punky215 November 13th, 2014 at 23:14

Israeli oppression today is not justified by WWII. Zionists began colonizing Palestine and preparing for ethnic cleansing decades before WWII and the holocaust.

What do you know, an Israeli Murican type gun nut. I guess he hasn’t yet figured out that his ancestors are likely Arabs, as Arabs are one of the more heterogeneous ethnic groups in the world. Many of them were of Jewish and Christian origin long before the spread of Islam.

The ignorant wingers in this country would conflate being an Arab with being a terrorist, but this guy is no different if going by his words.

    • Bob Waas July 11th, 2014 at 20:01

You’re right, my friend is an Arab Christian. He was born in Egypt and immigrated to America when he was 23 years old.

Here is a definition I got from ADC. American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee

“Arab” is a cultural and linguistic term. It refers to those who speak Arabic as their first language. Arabs are united by culture and by history. Arabs are not a race.

I’m an American, but American is not a race either.
