Ann Coulter: McDaniel’s Supporters Are ‘Clowns And Nuts’

Posted by | July 10, 2014 14:12 | Filed under: Contributors Eric Trommater Opinion Politics Top Stories

In her syndicated column today Ann Coulter called for Chris McDaniel to give up his battle for a recount of the June 25th Republican primary he lost to incumbent GOP Senator Thad Cochran. She went on to say that McDaniel’s supporters “looked like clowns and nuts,” and were “going to prevent him from having any political career, ever again.”

[H]e is being led down a primrose path to political oblivion. McDaniel’s passionate supporters think that a moment of crisis for the country is a good time to treat control of the Senate as if it’s a prom queen election.

Coulter then listed a few of the ways in which McDaniel’s supporters were making himself and other Tea Party nutters look bad:

. . .such as on the night of the first primary, when some of his staff got themselves locked in the courthouse, where they had gone, in a paranoid frenzy, to “check the ballots.”

Most appallingly, a McDaniel supporter, with the help of three others, was caught sneaking into Cochran’s wife’s nursing home to take photographs of the poor Alzheimer’s-ridden woman. The ringleader of this cruelty-to-dementia-patients campaign has now committed suicide.

Coulter made no mention of McDaniel’s own clown-like speaking at a Neo-Confederate event or various other racially charged commentary.

Coulter’s comments come less than two days after her RWNJ Ted Cruz came out in support of McDaniel’s bid to overturn the election, perhaps foreshadowing a split within the Tea Party over the issue.

I’d like to see her try to put lipstick on that pig the teaparty always was.

    • Eric Trommater July 10th, 2014 at 14:28

i’d just like to see her write one article without saying stupid stuff like this one today:

“It was perfectly obvious that Shannon County’s votes had been held until Democrats knew exactly how many votes they needed to manufacture. Shannon County vote-counter speak with forked tongue, Kemosabe.”

Even when she is taking a sane position she can’t go a paragraph without saying something stupid. How is this woman even famous?

        The correct word is “infamous”.

Pot calling kettle! Pot calling kettle, anyone, anyone? Coulter, Coulter?

    • Eric Trommater July 10th, 2014 at 14:29

That’s unfair to both pots and kettles, who despite their racial differences over the years have never reduced themselves to Coulter’s level. lol

      • tiredoftea July 10th, 2014 at 14:30

Point taken. Rocks calling hammers work for you?

        • Eric Trommater July 10th, 2014 at 14:35

I’m sure there are those who will see it as a joke on the overweight but screw rocks and hammers, damn things always pounding my thumb and stubbing my toes! I blame Obama.

Btw I shared this on FB and Google plus with: “The pots and kettles are at it again,” thank you for the idea. I love stealing!

Coulter ridicules the Tea Party for being principled. New Essay: “Coulter Again Attacks Tea Party” at http://t.co/npUIoRm4gt.

Coulter’s election analysis for several years has been abysmal. Claiming to be a conservative, Coulter consistently attacks the Tea Party and promotes candidates like Romney and Christie. Her political analysis cannot be trusted. See Never Trust Ann Coulter – at ANY Age, at http://www.coulterwatch.com/never.pdf.

I do like “The Manchurian Columnist” that’s a pretty cool description.

    • Dwendt44 July 10th, 2014 at 16:09

She’s like some conservatives that think WINNING is more important than principles (assuming conservatives have principles).
Once elected, THEN you can show the hate, vitriol, snark, and stupidity.

I love the smell of right wing internecine warfare in the morning.

It smells like the inevitability of what happens when crazy people have no one left to attack. So they attack each other.

Hmm, I think there’s a plot for a horror or zombie movie knock-off in there somewhere.

I got dibs on the copyright.

    • Eric Trommater July 10th, 2014 at 14:53

They already made that movie in the 1970’s it was called “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” Danny Devito has a very cool walk through as Ted Cruz.

      • arc99 July 10th, 2014 at 14:57

good movie. but I admit that when it comes to movies, my guilty pleasure is for gore, explosions and pointless nudity (in any order).

        • Eric Trommater July 10th, 2014 at 14:59

          Pointless? Is t ever pointless?

        • Robert Johnston July 10th, 2014 at 16:19

Just as long as the “pointless nudity” doesn’t involve Ann Coulter.
