Racism In Norfolk, Nebraska? Nah!

The good old boys of Norfolk, Nebraska had themselves a 4th of July celebration including a parade down main street. The most popular float featured a figure depicting President Obama dressed in overalls, standing in front of an outhouse. Signs indicated the outhouse was the Obama Presidential Library.

The crowd hooted and cheered wildly as the float passed by. Were these people racists? No! They’re just good American patriots having a little old-fashioned fun. Shucks, they didn’t mean no harm.

The Nebraska Democratic Party issued a statement, decrying the depiction as one of the “worst shows of racism and disrespect for the office of the Presidency that Nebraska has ever seen.”

The world is watching. These images are being seen by people in Canada, Europe and all over the world.

What must they think of us?

Once again, tea chuggers demonstrate their perverse vision of “patriotism” by denigrating the POTUS with base toilet imagery.

What is funny about ignorant people? Oh wait, I guess it is funny to see uneducated people make a fool of themselves. ;)

I’m not into ignorant people but are you implying that all those that didn’t finish their schooling are fools? Or not successful. You’d be surprised at how many billionaires didn’t’ finish High School and also those with skills can make more money then that pig skin. It’s also not rare that someone who finished high school also got his pension at the age of 41 and then worked again in a call center while collecting his (me) pension full of college graduates working the phones at $9 per hr and then went on to become a Supervisor of a bunch of college students…LOL.

I suffer from anxiety so I don’t feel I’m into myself. I have pride in accomplishment and started my work career at the age of 12 delivering news papers and then started my first real job working in fast food at 15 we were living on welfare, that’s back in the day my Mom used food stamps, it was not a fun time but I am grateful to the Government and American tax payer. Those that choose to do nothing with their lives are a waste of space … that’s my own personal opinion.

so, are you saying your mother choose to do nothing with her life? apparently by your words, she was a waste of life. she benefited from assistance when she found herself in hard times, to make sure her children were cared for and fed. and now, you’re against the very people who may be in the same situation as your mother and you don’t give a fk. have i got that right?

He will never understand any of what you say. His denial of white privilege won’t allow him to comprehend it.

you mean like the repuking, GOPissers, RWNJ’s, who insist on telling you numb nuts that they hate “big government” while trying to garner votes to implement “big government?” i.e., a woman’s right to her own body? in some states they want to arrest those who are gay because, and get this, in my whisper voice, because gay people have sex. the tRump so loves the ignorant and so does the rest of your GOPissers. why, because you basement dwellers and inbreds who live in your mammy’s basement, are, wait how did he say it, oh yeah, “i love the poorly educated.” he’s talking about you.

I spent 20 years in the Military and I didn’t come across any oppressed minorities in fact they had preferential treatment especially when it came to the next higher rank exams and boards, each exam that you take in the military they ask you your special rating and also your ethnicity. There is no such thing as oppressed anymore.
