John McCain Blames ISIS on Obama

Senator John McCain, appearing on Face the Nation, said the current situation in Iraq is the fault of President Obama.

“We did have this situation stabilized,” McCain said. “We could have left a residual force behind, which would have stabilized the situation.”

Bob Scheiffer asked McCain about Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s refusal to sign a status of forces agreement with the U.S. Without that agreement, Scheiffer said, it would be impossible to leave a residual force behind.

“They were ready to sign,” McCain argued. McCain predicted Obama “is going to make the same mistake in Afghanistan.”

McCain, who never met a war he doesn’t like, including civil wars, argued Obama should authorize more assistance to the Syrian rebels fighting to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.

Thank God and the good sense of the American people that this bizarre little man never became President.

I cringe when I think about McCain and Palin in the White House.

If it was a one-night stand, that could have been very interesting. He would need to be heavily medicated on both ends and every time she opens her mouth, he would need more blue pills.

True that. Maybe someone could point out to McCain that perhaps we’re in this mess because of an imperialistic approach to foreign policy which he supports still.

Is McCain storing nuts for winter in his cheeks again?

    • jasperjava July 6th, 2014 at 21:54

      He eats nuts?
I guess it’s true what they say: “You are what you eat.”

        Good response. Too funny.

This insignificant little twerp hasn’t been right about anything on foreign policy for more than three decades. Who the fuck asked this doddering ignoramus a question expecting anything other than his firm commitment of sending American troops to battle. This jackass will send our kids to die in a heartbeat for no reason.

McCain loves war. So does his friend Lindsey Graham. Lindsey loves to dress up in his Air Force uniform but never left South Carolina during the two Gulf Wars.

I think the contributor knows that. Read the last sentence in the article.
“McCain, who never met a war he doesn’t like, including civil wars . . .” He also selected a photo of McCain that makes him look like a maniac. It’s clear he’s no McCain fan.

Sounds like War Games McCain is saying once you do a regime change in one of these hostile countries, the US taxpayer will be stuck with maintenance fees for many years to come.

This is a year or so old so I’m sure there are a few more other places he wants to invade now.

I am sure to the tea party birther racists it makes sense to blame President Obama, because the Republican international mess that they left behind with their War mongering, Wars started on lies, torture and the death and maiming of thousands of American military service men and women is the past and it should be ignored.

Gen. Salim Idris, chief of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army, accompanied McCain and they met with 19 battalion commanders.

Citing the photo of McCain’s meeting, a Lebanese newspaper has reported that McCain unwittingly crossed paths with two men connected to a rebel group responsible for the kidnapping of 11 Lebanese Shiite pilgrims in 2012. McCain said one of the men he reportedly met with is dead and no one in his meeting was identified as the other.

Don’t bother Mccain when he’s on a secret mission

Had McCain been elected in 2008 we would be at war in…
Iraq…Afghanistan…Syria…Libya…Russia…Korea. In other words…WW III would be well underway…
