Oil Companies Long For The Days Of Saddam Hussein

Saddam Hussein was an evil dictator, but he was our evil dictator. We helped create him and then we killed him. But while he was alive, the trains ran on time, and the oil stayed where it was supposed to–in the wells.

Sounds like a good time to invest in alternative energy. This could be an ongoing problem for awhile.

Knocking off Saddam was perhaps the worst foreign policy disaster of all time. Dubya Bush should easily be regarded as the worst president of all time. Despite the evidence, a new Quinnipiac poll released today, showed showed 33 percent of Americans believe Obama is the worst president since World War II, with 28 percent choosing G.W. Bush as the worst president. Forty-five percent think America would be better off had Romney won the election. Only 38 percent think we would be worse off with Romney.

All I can think is that 33 percent of the 1,446 people Quinnipaic polled were incredibly stupid. How can anyone with an IQ over 50 think G.W. Bush was a better president than Obama?

H.L. Mencken was right when he said “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.”

Knocking off Saddam was perhaps the worst foreign policy disaster of all time. 4,000 dead Americans, thousands more wounded, all for nothing. And now we have ISIS. Thank you Mr. Bush.
