U.S. Pushing Again For Iraq Regime Change

When will we learn? Senator Dianne Feinstein is pushing for regime change in Iraq.

Feinstein (D., Calif.) told a congressional hearing Wednesday: “The Maliki government, candidly, has got to go if you want any reconciliation.”

Senior administration officials have become increasingly critical of Mr. Maliki in their public statements and question whether he is committed to mending ties with Sunnis.

“There’s no question that not enough has been done by the government, including the prime minister, to govern inclusively, and that that has contributed to the situation and the crisis that we have today in Iraq,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said Wednesday. “The Iraqi people will have to decide the makeup of the next coalition government and who is the prime minister,” he added. “Whether it’s the current prime minister or another leader, we will aggressively attempt to impress upon that leader the absolute necessity of rejecting sectarian governance.”

Sen. Feinstein, you need to follow the lead of your colleague from California, Sen. Boxer.

What happens in Iraq is up to the people who live there. Not you, not me, not any American or any other foreigner. You voted for the catastrophic war that has produced the current state of affairs. The people who were so wrong about so much need to sit down and shut up.

I voted for you when you last ran for reelection. Should you decide to run again, rest assured that your Democratic opponent in the primary will be my choice, whomever that might be.

“Should you decide to run again, rest assured that your Democratic
opponent in the primary will be my choice, whomever that might be.”
This needed to happen a few years ago at the least. She has simply been so popular here that no one questions whether there might actually be a better candidate for the job.

Just like all the other career politicians around the country.

EZ – shock em, awe em and then bomb and destroy the entire country, lynch the president, find a jerk to replace him with the promise of support, hang around for ten years, lose 3-6thousand young americans, leave and then watch and then go back and do it again – pattern of insanity here? It’s not the business of the usa.

Regime Change? It worked out so well the first time we tried it.
