    The stopped clock strikes.

Refreshing to hear someone on the right be honest enough to admit that this was President Bush’s decision, regardless of whether a MINORITY of Congressional Democrats voted for the war, especially when compared to the nearly unanimous support provided by Congressional Republicans..

I do admit it is somewhat entertaining to watch as the folks who busied themselves by smashing Dixie Chicks records, calling people traitors, and renaming French Fries, now scurry to try and rewrite history to blame it all on Democrats. Just goes to show you how little the truth matters to these people.

Incidentally, Hilary admits she f*cked up.

When will Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice et al demonstrate similar integrity?

Hillary Clinton on Iraq vote: ‘I still got it wrong. Plain and simple.’

enjoy the brief set up while you can, arc. Next move: How POTUS Obama and the DEMOCRATS have screwed things up so bad, we’ll have to leave troops in Iraq forever. (something John Deere was smilingly proposing in 2008)
Democrats will no longer be able to deny that the despot Maliki is not their visible face of ‘AMERICAN MORAL VALUES’ any more than Hillary will be able to deny she’s ever been involved with the Democrat Party.
By the end of this month, POTUS Obama and the Democrats will be in full and complete ownership of Iraq, et. al , lock, stock and barrel with GW being only a far ago distant memory of wonderful churchgoer folks who’s only memory of him will be a ‘good family man’ that loved Jesus!

Hillary and the rest in Congress (Republican and Democrat) who voted for the war have a reasonable explanation – they were lied to.

      Fraud negates consent.

Before the invasion, every major rationale put forth by the Bush administration was known by them to be false or in serious question. But once Bush built up all those forces in Kuwait, what was he going to do? Pull them out and give Saddam a propaganda victory? No, Bush boxed himself in and all he could do was gamble. He gambled and we lost.

He’s absolutely right, for once (except for when he went goofy at the end with that Antichrist garbage), but i wonder if this isn’t some wily move for the Right.

George W. B*sh is history, and, thank God, can never run again. There may be a realization by the Republicans that they are still caked with the crud that George W. B*sh smeared all over them. They are associated with his horrible economic, domestic, and foreign policies. The more they can distance themselves from him, the better they can start afresh with another idiot at the helm, to bamboozle the gullible and easily led.

of course this is a wily move from the right, jj.
any decision the willfully failing right suggest that Obama doesn’t implement immediately will result in the failure being Obama’s fault. Hell, if you stop and think for one minute, he’s already been blamed for the failure resulting in US being where we are now with Iraq?
This only accomplishes putting some blood on Obama and the Democrats – and turning over command of US Troops for Maliki’s personal goons. (eg: if they don’t do what Maliki wants it’s because Obama seeks US Failure).
It’s a win, win, win for GOPs
GOP win: MORE MONEY in their offshore bank accounts first and foremost!
GOP win: Obama gets dragged down in a never ending unwinable war
GOP win: GOPs allow their buddy to use, abuse and destroy US Military Personnel at his whim and discretion in the face of the entire world.

for those whose interest lies more in recorded history than ‘CURRENT EVENTS’ ,they may want to mark down 16 June, 2014.

Day the US Democrats handed over all powers to GOPs.
without so much as an election.

for those of you who see this as a welcome sign

    BEHOLD!

who will receive the CURRENT BLAME and by their greedy little hands WRATH of the holey peoples of “God”?

I seem to recall there were some in LL who previously viewed ole Patrick as

    “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”?

strange that “God” forgot to tell Patrick to remind his money givers that Iraq is where it’s at because of Obama already, but I’m quite sure “God” will deliver that message through Patrick’s greedy little LYING tongue at just the right time!

“As bad as Saddam Hussein was, he held those warring factions in check, and he contained those radical Islamists,” he continued. “Fix it, no? It’s too late to fix it. It’s unfixable. Those simmering animosities have been there for centuries.”

It’s nice to hear old Pat make sense. I hope his wingnut followers were paying attention. I think he may be right about the Anti-Christ too. Here’s his picture.
