To be fair, the tea party believes hes a dictator, to that end we all know dictators have no term limits.

    • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 14:02

I don’t even see the need to have another election, let’s just suspend the 2016 election and keep Obama. Surely Obama can do that with one of those executive orders.

      • craig7120 June 8th, 2014 at 14:49

Have him appear on snl or Letterman and elude to that consideration? That’s gold Jerry, gold!

      • abqdan June 8th, 2014 at 16:15

Bush signed hundreds of executive orders – didn’t help him.

        • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 16:31

But Obama is a dictator or something, maybe a King, I don’t know. It has to work for him, Obama as ruler supreme, forever and ever. maybe I’am getting too snarky now

IF, America is destined to have a ‘leader for life’ – then I think Obama should be crowned as the First King of The USA!
Royalty is kinda lavish in lifestyle, and the Obama’s would fit right in!
Malia and Sasha would be simply gorgeous in Princesses Gowns, Barack would be the best looking King in the world with an American crown, robe and strutting down the steps of AF1 while the Royal Band played Hail to the King! About the only drawback to Queen Michelle would be those of us with our necks on the Royal chopping block! Depending on which Royal dress she might be wearing….

Yes, and the Tea Party believes in creationism, that there is no climate change, that women should not have access to complete health care, that women belong in the kitchen, the Earth is flat, and that the wealthy should have even lower taxes. WOW, there is a sign held by a staunch Tea Partier regarding the Public Option, the sign read: “No Pubic Option!” That sign says it all.

    • Shades June 8th, 2014 at 15:53

A lot of them believe he’s secretly signed some executive order allowing him to run for a third time.

uh, there may have been some half witted purt near white old southern boy that -uh- started that -uh- rumor. I’m sure it was all done in the spirit of fun though. No need for calls of criminal charges just because so many teabaggers was threatening to do harm to themselves by committing suicide, or if that didn’t work, start hurting others. THEY were the ones who were threatening to do that, not the purt near white old southern boy – may be needs to keep that part clearly stated and notarized.

that’s very true, craig, I remember well the Republiclowns trying to float a lead balloon over the Atlantic by suggesting a delay in the 2008 elections until the endless Occupational Liberation of Iraq was completed.
Someone insisted that US Presidential Elections were held -on time- even during WW 2, howbeit the dangers were only a code yellow with fruitstripes white and Republiclowns in 2008 had one hand tied behind their backs by having to run a VP with lipstick RED.

Fear breeds delusion and alters critical thinking. It still doesn’t explain the sign. What could the tea party possibly be afraid of? I mean what could scare them more than a black man in the white house? One would think they’d be relieved and……oh….right

  7. Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 16:05

LOL, and the left thinks everything Obama has done is Bushes fault!!

    • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 16:19

We do blame things that have culminated during Obama’s administration, that had irreversible consequences started during Bush’s administration on Bush. Unfortunately Bush made a lot of bad decisions that had consequences for future administrations. That is why so many people now are so ardent about not wanting another republican in charge. The consequences could be another disaster, Bush was one too many, no more.

      • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 17:06

You do know that sword cuts both ways, so what makes you correct and all others wrong? Every President makes bad decisions, even Obama.. Can you name one US President who has pleased all of the people all of the time? What should alarm you is Democratic politicians like Pelosi who wouldn’t read a bill until it was passed.. You refuse to hold your Holy God Obama accountable for his lies regarding Obamacare about keeping same doctors, etc… So all in all you all point your crooked indignant fingers at the GOP for their partisanship, yet you all refuse to see much less acknowledge your own partisanship, which is why people such as myself see the vast portion of the American left wing as the purest form of evil.

        • Carla Akins June 8th, 2014 at 17:14

I know of no one that thinks Obama is god, nor are the happy with all the administrations various policies. However, he is a twice elected President, so I call bullshit on your “vast majority” claim.

          • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 17:37

When the left gets all wound up when Obama gets criticized and acts like its blasphemy, I would say that is a form of worship. Stop sprinkling rose petals in front of this man and hold his feet to the fire, just like you did to Bush!

            • Carla Akins June 8th, 2014 at 17:41

For your information, I voted for Bush. You know nothing about me, you did no research on my other comments to know what history showed. That’s no surprise since your comments are full of inaccuracies and outright disproven claims. I criticize the current administration plenty – for things they’re actually guilty of, I disagree with or feel is inappropriate. Unlike you, I do not lump the entire population into two groups. I do insist upon honest, verifiable claims – or your “opinions” have no validity.

        • arc99 June 8th, 2014 at 17:18

what alarms me is people who make up things out of thin air (e.g. polticians like Pelosi who wouldn’t read a bill until it was passed).

what alarms me is people who think nonsensical hysteria (your Holy God) is going to somehow change anyone’s mind.

what alarms me is people whose minds are so full of hatred for anyone who dares to think differently, that they refer to people like me and millions of others as ” the purest form of evil”

for what it’s worth, as far as I am concerned, there is nothing more evil and un American than the hatred expressed in your post.

          • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 17:34

Again you cannot see your partisanship.. If someone dares to be a conservative, you all get your panties twisted.. When this President gets criticized, you all act like its blasphemy. Liberal is code for double standards.

            • Carla Akins June 8th, 2014 at 17:37

No, when someone makes outrageous claims out of hand with no supporting evidence, it alarms us.

            • arc99 June 8th, 2014 at 20:48

your intellectually dishonest post did not respond to a single point I made. your claim about Pelosi is bullsh*t. you talk about people you disagree with being the purest form of evil then you whine about partisanship.

you are the one getting your panties in a twist, making up complete fiction then whining when people point out that your opinions are completely disconnected from reality.

I criticized your post using the exact same pejoratives you directed at liberal members of this forum. YOU are the code for double standards.

              • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 21:50

You are arrogant if you think you deserve a point by point response to everything you write when everyone else does the same, hang off a few words and ignore the rest of the post.. You do it, mea_mark does it, good grief why do you leftos require aliases?? There is a reason Pelosi got tossed off of the speakers podium.. that ACA got passed on pure DEM vote, which earned you 2010. When the GOP muscled legislation through that way, oh how you all would whine, but when your side does it, “its the process”.

                • arc99 June 8th, 2014 at 21:56

so it is “arrogant” of me to point out that your claims are total BS and you offer no rebuttal?

you post a load of BS and I “arrogantly” point out that little if any of what you wrote is true, and you respond with more whining about how we lefties are all so partisan because we are not stupid enough to believe your unsubstantiated factually bereft BS.

                  I can live with that..

                  p.s.
Sam Rayburn was one of the most respected, admired Speakers of the House in the history of our republic. He lost the Speakership not once, but twice. Politics happens.

                • arc99 June 8th, 2014 at 22:04

                  here is another “arrogant” fact.

on a nationwide basis, Congressional Democrats received more votes than Congressional Republicans. The GOP 2012 control of the House is more due to creative district drawing than a reflection of the true will of the American people.

                  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-03-19/republicans-win-congress-as-democrats-get-most-votes.html

The 2010 elections, in which Republicans won the House majority and gained more than 700 state legislative seats across the nation, gave the party the upper-hand in the process of redistricting, the once-a-decade redrawing of congressional seats. The advantage helped them design safer partisan districts and maintain their House majority in 2012 — even as they lost the presidential race by about 5 million votes. Also nationwide, Democratic House candidates combined to win about 1.4 million more votes than Republicans, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News

        • craig7120 June 8th, 2014 at 17:27

          LOL @ you
          “Purest form of evil”
Is that like evil extract? No preservatives?
Take the thumb out your mouth and pull up your diaper, drama baby.

        • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 17:42

WOW! You got all that out of my comment? You must truly be amazing. Except you are wrong. Obama does make mistakes, they just aren’t near to the level that the republican mistakes have been in the recent past. I acknowledge my anti-republican position but I am more independent and lean more toward the Justice Party http://www.justicepartyusa.org/ if you think justice is evil then heaven help you because you are going to need it.

          • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 17:56

Arent near the level… His lies about Obamacare, all the gaffs, including his party in the rose garden last week?? What was this mans qualifications prior to 08? Not even a half term in the Senate, a little state govt legislative, and lets face it, Illinois politics isn’t the best example. He was of course a welfare pimp (comm organizer).. However McCain and Romney I digress weren’t the answers either. As you acknowledge your anti-repub position, please allow me my anti-left position.. I say that as I will vote for one if applicable, except never for POTUS. If I am to judge Democrats as harshly as you do Repubs, then I will look back through just my lifetime and judge the Dems, I see the lot of them making some grandma mistakes.. So maybe we both are alike.

            • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 18:19

You are allowed an anti-left position. Just don’t show up at a left leaning site and start posting garbage with out expecting heavy criticism. Mistakes about how the ACA would work out are small compared to what Bush did. Obama hasn’t started two unfunded wars and crashed the economy while helping the oligarchs siphon money out of the economy. Obama is trying to turn things around for America while facing fierce partisan opposition that blindly wants to help oligarchical people like the Koch brothers. Give me a break.

              • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 18:49

Moral equivalencies don’t really work.. “Well gee at least he hasn’t launched any nuclear weapons”.. .. If Obama had been a repub, you would be holding his feet to the fire.. This is what I mean by double standards.. If the IRS tormented left wing orgs under Bush, there would be hell to pay. It would be nice if you all would be consistent.

                • Alan Batterman June 8th, 2014 at 19:43

The so-called IRS scandal is a pile of stinking BULLSHIT. The head of that IRS office in Cincinnati was a conservative Republican. Bush stole both elections. Started war in Iraq on lies. Fumbled on 9/11. Destroyed the economy with tax cuts for the rich Kochsuckers and bank deregulation that led to the mortgage derivative scandal.

                  • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 20:09

Of course there is no scandals, Obama walks on water, when he isn’t walking on rose petals.. There is no IRS scandal, NO NSA controversy, no behghazi, you can keep your Doctors… and Bowe Bergdahl is up there with Sargeant York!

                • mea_mark June 8th, 2014 at 21:08

I hold Obama responsible for what he has done, so far it has been pretty good. Your misconceptions about what Obama has done is the real problem. As long as you believe things that are not true, you will be unable to see things clearly and will imagine things like double standards that aren’t there.

                  • Ross Cassell June 8th, 2014 at 21:40

Pretty Good??? This is what I meant last week when I made a comment about Starry Eyed Liberals.. LOL Another way to put it, blinders are on, tunnel vision, drank the koolaid or lemmings. You don’t get it, there is no such thing as a POTUS that can make no mistakes… But you come very close to awarding Obama that distinction. Those double standards are there simply based on all the slack you give Obama..

                    • mea_mark June 9th, 2014 at 08:50

You keep making assumptions that are not true. I think Obama has made mistakes, I just think his accomplishments outweigh his mistakes. I have no blinders on, but obviously you do.

                • wpadon June 8th, 2014 at 22:38

Bush did turn the Department of Justice into a political cesspool with the likes of Mary Beth Buchanan and others.

                • JKess June 9th, 2014 at 03:50

The IRS did go after liberal groups under w, child. they also went after liberal groups under Obama. and if Obama was a republican you’d be sitting there saying any criticism of him is treason
Curious how you seem to think that any group should get to claim tax exempt status and not be investigated to see if they actually deserve it

                • jasperjava June 10th, 2014 at 21:31

“If Obama had been a repub, you would be holding his feet to the fire.. ”

Of course. conservatism is a rotten bankrupt ideology that seeks to make the poor suffer, destroy the middle class, and cater to the wishes of millionaires and billionaires. It’s an ideology based on ignorance, hatred, greed, selfishness and fear.

If Obama were a Republican, you can bet we would be criticizing him, and working to defeat him.

Fortunately for all of us, however, the duly and legally elected President of the United States is NOT a Republican. And WON’T be a Republican for the foreseeable future.

                • jasperjava June 10th, 2014 at 21:35

That being said, President Obama is usually a moderate centrist, and a moderate liberal on his best days. He’s far from the radical socialist that brain-dead right-wingers think he is.

He’s a bit too conservative for my taste, but he’s a smart, likable guy, and FAR better than anyone the Republicans can put against him.

            • JKess June 9th, 2014 at 03:47

He didn’t lie about obamacare, child. he expected the insurance companies to adapt to the new standards. they didn’t because they’d rather be greedy.
So why don’t you blame the actual ones who kicked people off insurance? that being the insurance companies themselves

              • Ross Cassell June 10th, 2014 at 19:54

Greedy.. Do you even know how insurance works?? Its one big bet and none of the insurance carriers are in business to bleed money.

            • jasperjava June 9th, 2014 at 23:34

Ross Cassel: “He was of course a welfare pimp (comm organizer)..”

That, right there, tells us everything we need to know about Ross Cassel.

Hey, Ross, the dry cleaners phoned. Your white robe and hood are ready to be picked up. They managed to get all the brown and yellow stains out of the crotch area.

              • Ross Cassell June 10th, 2014 at 18:37

LOL, at what age did they teach you to infer one is a racist because they don’t parrot your point of view?

                • TiredOfThemAll June 10th, 2014 at 18:47

Usually, we reserve the term “racist” for those who say racist things.

                  like, welfare pimp (comm organizer).

How do those things go together?

Do you even what a community organizer is?

Do you know why the Churched hired him?

And from where do you get that Obama lied?

                  http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-111hr3590enr/pdf/BILLS-111hr3590enr.pdf

If you stand by that claim, I assume you can point to a specific in the law.

                  • Ross Cassell June 10th, 2014 at 19:06

Obama has an advantage, his partisans can blame all criticism on racism, regardless if any existed or not. What I said was not racist and neither am I racist, but the “R” word is a term your side uses to shut down debate. I use the term welfare pimp in the same context that I would refer to Bush as Dubya, or Bill Clinton as slick willy. Not a one of you can cite Obamas qualifications, I cited his above, at least his predecessors had some. Unfortunately I think the distinction of him being a first trumped any non-qualifiers. You on the left need to spend less time thinking with your hearts.

                  • mea_mark June 10th, 2014 at 19:35

However, the Republicans sure can get the brain-dead to vote.

    • arethusa13 June 8th, 2014 at 18:25

Well, actually, most of us are good enough at reading, adding, calculating to know the statistics, the facts about tax cuts, wars and deregulation and to be able to use evidence to form the conclusions that many things Obama has done or tried to do have NOTHING to do with the Bushes (stopping torture, trying to close Gitmo, repairing relationships with allies, setting up rules to protect the environment for the health and welfare of citizens, trying to find common sense ways of responding to all the gun violence, just to name a very few). We do know that tax cuts for the wealthy, unfunded wars, one illegal war, decades of Republican deregulation with help from some democrats and the growing gap between rich and poor are fundamental causes of present problems, exacerbated by the efforts of Republicans and their Tea Party controllers to continue their disastrous economic, foreign and domestic policies.

    • jasperjava June 9th, 2014 at 19:58

There was a poll of Republicans in Louisiana a while back. A *majority* of them blamed President Obama for the federal response to Hurricane Katrina.

I remember seeing a poll in December 2008, where 20% of respondents blamed then-President-ELECT Obama for the financial meltdown. This was before he had served a single day in office.

So forgive me if I have some skepticism about those who blame B*sh was things Obama has done. You won’t even blame B*sh for what happened on his watch.

      • Ross Cassell June 9th, 2014 at 20:58

My reference is to the events that have happened under his watch. I will not however blame the housing crisis totally on Bush, as it was a major component in the economy crisis.. Its safe to blame both sides of the aisle, you will disagree as Democrats are perfect and don’t make mistakes, yes?

    • Mary Sassin June 10th, 2014 at 07:39

No we know everything Bush did is…Bush’s fault…like take a surplus budget and turn it into a recession….lie us into two wars…

Usually, we reserve the term “racist” for those who say racist things.

                like, welfare pimp (comm organizer).

How do those things go together?

Do you even what a community organizer is?

Do you know why the Churched hired him?

And from where do you get that Obama lied?

However, the Republicans sure can get the brain-dead to vote.

So forgive me if I have some skepticism about those who blame B*sh on things Obama has done.

No we know everything Bush did is…Bush’s fault…like take a surplus budget and turn it into a recession….lie us into two wars…

Too bad the official 2016 ballot cannot include as a choice: “Anybody but Obama”.
It would be interesting to see how many tea-chugging morons would check that box.

Maybe they were referring to a majority in both houses so they could impeach him and unlike Clonton find him guilty in the senate. Or maybe they didn’t have enough room on the marquis to fit obamacare.

Or maybe they are idiots and this is now just a picture that is being used in a story to add some color and has no real connection whatsoever.

even if the elections of 2016 delivered overwhelming Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, their term will not start until 2017, when President Obama will be leaving office anyway.

having lost the popular vote in 5 out of 6 of the last Presidential elections, I am not really surprised at the right wing yearnings for impeachment. That is what you get from a party with no ideas and an agenda that resembles a collection of viral emails; petulant misinformed tantrums and mutterings about impeaching a twice-elected President

I wish the house would vote to impeach. Honestly, Obama could use the 10 point rise in approval ratings.

But it’s so easy to make Tea Partiers look stupid, because, well…
