“Republicans admire your service to the country until they can exploit it for political purposes.”

a bit long for a bumper sticker, but so true.

John Kerry, Max Cleland, Tammy Duckworth, meet Bowe Bergdahl and as part of his re-entry into society, educate him on the contemptible tactics the right wing will use in order to disparage his service for political purposes.

The military’s legal definition of desertion requires that the subject’s intent is to be away from the military PERMANENTLY. Check out the UCMJ. Bergdahl left his unit and returned voluntarily previous to his capture. And he tried to escape at least once. There is no way he could be convicted of desertion.

GOP TV’s latest failed smear attempt of the Twice promoted POW during his captivity, proves there is absolutely no intelligent life remaining among today’s republican 24% of registered voters.

Convene a general court martial to allow the facts to come out..

You really don’t understand what a Court martial is for, do you? A Court martial is a trial based on real, not trumped up charges. The militart has bareky started to debrief this man. Then they will conduct an investigation, then they will determine if a Court Martial is justified in an Article 32 Hearing. We have due process for a reason. Fools like you ARE that reason….

Idiot. The military refused to rescue this guy and pleaded with El Presidente not to trade the Taliban for him.

Court Martial him for desertion in the face of the enemy..

Skip the whole 15-6 and Article 32 process so that you can have your reality show entertainment.

I think the last sentence of the article describes you to a T. People like yourself admire our service to the country until you can exploit it for political purposes.
