General to Republicans urging continued captivity & Torture for US POW BerGdahl: “I hate to say it…but I think you’re brainwashed Nazi’s” for advocating torture and now saying ‘Keep torturing US POW’s’-GOP family valueless plank of today.

Unless you’re brainwashed everybody hates today’s GOP message de jour that ‘continued Torture of US POW’s is a GOP Family Value. They’ve learned nothing from when GOP advocated GWB / Cheney Admins Torture prohibited by UCMJ, Geneva & UN Treaties! Still true today as it was in 2009 when Rush Limbaugh was criticized by one of his callers for hurting the Republican party’s fortunes and supporting the practice of torture. The caller, Charles, identified himself as a Republican and a veteran, who “really didn’t want to see Obama get in office.” From there, he let loose, especially on the torture issue, telling Limbaugh, “We’re not supposed to be torturing these people. This is not Nazi Germany, Red China, or North Korea.” He then added, “I hate to say it…but I think you’re a brainwashed Nazi.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/07/republican-caller-tells-l_n_184244.html

We have never traded murderous barbarians for soldiers. There is a reason you do not negotiate with terrorists. It is going to end with more soldiers being captured and used to extort favors from weak willed men like Obama.

you have no clue what you are talking about.

According to your logic, our remaining forces in Afghanistan would no longer face the risk of being taken prisoner, if only the President had refused the exchange.

Of course if the President had refused the exchange and Sgt. Bergdahl was executed, I have no doubt you would be right here condemning the “weak willed” President.

As I said before, the Obama-haters have clearly demonstrated that they will condemn the President regardless of which decision he makes. You already see it from the right wing ideologues who just months ago were imploring the President to bring Sgt. Bergdahl home by “ANY MEANS NECESSARY”. The President did that, and now you guys are whining.

Here, let me refresh your memory to point out the staggering hypocrisy from the right wing on display this week.

Horrible. Obama to Leave US POW to Rot in Afghanistan After Withdrawal

Is that what we learned from the god of FRWNJs Ronnie when he sold over 1500 missiles to Iran in exchange for the release of three hostages who were subsequently replaced ion fairly short order?

General to Republicans urging continued captivity & Torture for US POW BerGdahl: “I hate to say it…but I think you’re brainwashed Nazi’s” for advocating torture and now saying ‘Keep & torture US POW’s’ the GOP’s latest family valueless plank of today.

Unless you are brainwashed, everybody hates today’s GOP message de jour that continued Torture of US POW’s is a GOP Family Value. They’ve learned nothing from when GOP advocated for the GWB / Cheney Admins torture prohibited by UCMJ, Geneva & UN treaties the US is a party to. Still true today, as it was in 2009 when Rush Limbaugh was criticized by one of his listener callers for hurting the Republican party’s fortunes and supporting the practice of torture. The caller, Charles, identified himself as a Republican and a veteran, who “really didn’t want to see Obama get in office.” From there, he let loose, especially on the torture issue, telling Limbaugh, “We’re not supposed to be torturing these people. This is not Nazi Germany, Red China, or North Korea.” He then added, “I hate to say it…but I think you’re a brainwashed Nazi” with “Levin and Hannity and Hewitt.” Replay the call here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/07/republican-caller-tells-l_n_184244.html
