You would think a returning POW would get a ticker tape parade. But not one who was freed by the work of Barack Obama.

Heather Dawson, the city administrator of Hailey, Idaho, said town officials called off the June 28 event at the request of organizers because the town “will be unable to safely manage the number of people expected.”

The decision came as the small mountain community was coming under mounting pressure to cancel the rally amid rising anger over claims by some of Bergdahl’s former Army comrades that he had deliberately abandoned his post in Afghanistan.

    Not to worry Sgt. Bergdahl. After you have been home for a few months, grab a shotgun and threaten some federal marshalls or US Park Service rangers. Once again the right wing will embrace you as a true patriot.

    The people of Idaho should be ashamed of themselves. This is how the RWNJ’s treat their returning POW’s? Oh sure, they’re American heroes – until Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity say otherwise. Truly sickening.
