These guys are all wackjobs who have no business being allowed to own a firearm of any kind. It’s way past time laws are made to disarm them permanently.
To own a firearm, at the very least you should prove you are responsible and intelligent enough. These idiots don’t have enough common sense to know they are endangering others.

They think that they are helping their cause. Which is one reason they should not be allowed to carry, they just don’t have the gray matter to handle the responsibility.

It’s a shame that nut jobs like this continue to overshadow the responsible gun owners.

How do we tell them apart?

How do we tell them apart?
I’m a gun owner. I even collect certain firearms. Vestiges of the American smokestack industry military arms, and a few foreign weapons. I spent twenty years in the military, and I carried a sidearm during my 16 years as a cop. I know how to hunt, (but gave it up a long time ago) I taught my sons how, and schooled them in the responsibilities associated with firearms. Neither one hunts, but both are intimately familiar with firearms, so much so that during a visit to a gun shop my oldest was handed a model 94 Winchester to inspect. He refused the weapon because the action wasn’t opened and left the store. I found him by the car.
Responsible gun owners dislike blatant flaunting of firearms. They detest violence, poachers, camo-clad wanna-be’s with inane bumper stickers that promote armed violence, and vigilante justice.
Responsible gun owners know that big magazines, rapid fire, plastic whiz-bang military stocks G.I Joe inspired compensators and flash suppressors don’t make you manly or cool. Heck, the most deadly human I ever knew was an “old school” cop with an ancient model 10 revolver.
But here’s the gist of my belief. The so called sacred second amendment argument doesn’t mean much to a mother picking out a coffin for her 6 year old.
I’m a gun owner, and there isn’t any document, mantra, agenda or tradition that supersedes the fundamental right of our citizenry to walk this land in safety.
In other words. I like my guns, but lets talk. Lets come to a solution. Lets make it better. We can shrug our shoulders and simply accept the tragedy of murdered people because we somehow believe that a constitutional amendment renders us powerless….OR, we can recognize that as a society we can collectively put aside our differences and understand that we have a problem.
I refuse to accept the notion that a nation that put a dune buggy on Mars can’t keep find a way to significantly reduce and/or eliminate this senseless slaughter.

We need you as the next president of The NRA. If you’ll run, I’ll join and vote for you. Your post is brilliant and hit the target (so to speak) on every single point. Well done.

Guns aren’t the problem. Period. Fix the mental health system and the rest will take care of itself.

Yes, but how do I TELL you have these fine qualities? A friend of mine for 45 years taught gun safety to hundreds of Boy Scouts, but the only reason he didn’t kill one of my other friends was that when the hammer fell, the primer was so old it failed to ignite.

            Good question.
How do you tell if the guy delivering the sermon this Sunday isn’t a homicidal maniac?

              I don’t care because he isn’t armed.

Why do they pick only restaurants? If they had any balls they’d start showing up at banks

    • RuralStupidity May 26th, 2014 at 22:55

      Or police stations.

Same tactics as used by KKK in recent times; such ones tend to support the GOP Political Party – which may explain the current trends of Americans looking more for Democrats to hold political offices.

What world are you living in? You have the award for stupidest comment of the bunch.

Ironically, they’re doing more to damage their own cause than those women ever could.
