Tea Party Official Arrested In Connection With Illegal Photographs Of Senator’s Wife

One of the arrests made in connection with illegally photographing the wife of Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran in a nursing home is a Tea Party leader in his state.

Kevin Camp, attorney for blogger Clayton Kelly, has confirmed that two additional arrests have been made in connection to the photograph of Senator Thad Cochran’s wife.

Attorney Mark Mayfield (pictured) was in court in Madison today. He has been charged with conspiracy. His bond is set at $250,000.

Mayfield is a Board member of the Central MS Tea Party and is being represented by Attorney John Reeves and Coxwell and Associates will represent Mark Mayfield.

The third suspect arrested is Richard Sager of Laurel. He has been charged with tampering of evidence and conspiracy. His bond is set at $250,000 per count.

Camp tells us that his client, Clayton Kelly, will now also face a charge of conspiracy, his third charge in this case.
