Racial Slur On Obama Signs In Texas

Texas Democratic Chair Gilberto Hinojasa was shocked by what he saw in Brownsville.

“This kind of conduct is unacceptable in the year 2012,” Hinojosa said. “They are writing racist statements on the signs using the “N” word, putting mustard on them and shooting at the signs and then putting them back.”

The “N” word can be seen written several times in black marker on “Lubbock Supports Obama” signs throughout the city.

One in particular is riddled with offensive graffiti and Hinojosa says when the precinct chairperson in Lubbock attempted to record the alleged vandals on his cell phone he was attacked.

“They assaulted him and started telling him he needed to go back to Mexico and this is a third generation American whose family was born here,” Hinojosa said.

Shamefully, the Republican Party in Lubbock said this is a Democratic ploy to get attention.
