President Sought Out Libya Questioner After Debate To Give Fuller Answer

Kerry Ladka, an undecided voter, asked President Obama during Tuesday night’s debate who denied requests for extra security in Libya. After the debate, the president offered a more complete answer.

Ladka said Obama found him after the debate and discussed the issue in more detail, explaining that naming a specific person who denied the request would have put that person at risk.

“I appreciate his private answer more than his public answer,” Ladka told Wemple. But in the end, he was still undecided about his vote.
