Hey GOP, Who Built That?

The GOP has made attacking the statement by President Obama that no one built a career alone as the major theme of their convention.  Well the folks at the Roosevelt Institute have come up with how much the GOP convention has been supported by government funds and suggested that each delegate pay back the government that amount for creating the lovely Tampa Bay (pictured) setting for them.

As for the delegates who stay healthy, we hope you’ll enjoy your stay and that your cheers of “we built this!” are worth the $50,307 you’ll have to refund the government for all the work it did to prepare the city on your behalf. And remember to set a little extra aside for tourist activities!

I have no idea if the actual number is right but the point certainly is.  How about this?  Everyone who made it on their own can vote for Romney/Ryan and the rest of us should vote for Obama/Biden.  Oh right, then Romney and Ryan would have to vote for their opponents, along with virtually everyone else.
